Chapter 16: Their Bonding

It was the science centre, and everyone gathered around. "So dear students and parents hum yahan 3 baje tak rahenge uske baad aap sab paas mein hi mall jayenge yahan se related kuch interesting project ke liye shopping karenge uske liye aapko ek ghanta milega aur phir wapas yahan iss room mein gather honge.. Apne project pe kaam karenge aur 7 baje tak submit karenge.. The best one will win a special prize.. All the best"

Everyone scattered around with their kids. Khushi stared at the things in confusion, he could hardly understand the theory behind the science. Manvi smiles and places her hand on her shoulder "main hun na.. Tumhe sab samjhati hun"

Khushi and Manvi thoroughly study each and every exhibition. Manvi says "chalo ab concentrate karke ise yahan se waha move karo yaad rahe bina distract hue warna ye touch hua toh alarm bajega"

Khushi holds the ring and slowly moves it but it touches and the alarm buzzed. Khushi sighed deeply, Manvi smiles "it's okay phir try karo"

Khushi does it and managed to do it. She shared a high-five with Manvi and they moved ahead. Khushi had begun to enjoy it. Manvi glanced at the time and it was 3pm "3 bajh gaye hai chalo hume mall jaana hai"

"Lekin hum banayega kya??" Khushi asked

"Humhe 5 minute lagenge waha jaane mein kuch interesting toh mil hi jayega chalo chalo.." Manvi said and moves to the mall along with her.

There was a science-related equipment shop, Khushi entered inside and began to figure out. She recalled what Manvi explained to her and began to pick up a few items.

Her friend laughed at her "hamesha ki tarah main hi jeetungi mere paas mumma papa hai aur tumhare paas sirf ek dost"

Khushi gets angry hearing her. Manvi places her hand on her shoulder and Khushi eyed at her "yaad rakho Khushi jeet se zyada zaroori hai tumhari mehnat.."

Khushi shook her head positively. The host announced "Sirf 10 minute hai aapke paas students and parents"

Manvi collected a few more items and both of them moved to the counter. Manvi did the payment, Khushi eyed at her "Mr. Malhotra se kahungi amount aapko transfer karde"

"It's okay.. Chalo" Manvi said and both of them moved back to the science centre.

Khushi places the things and stared at them blankly, Manvi's phone rings and it was call from Dhruv. She said "Khushi main aayi 2 minute mei" she moves outside to attend the call.

Khushi looked around and the students were working with their parents. It has been almost 15 minutes and Manvi hadn't returned. She thought Manvi left mid-way, the host came to her and asked "beta kaha hai tumhari mumma?"

Khushi glanced at her silently. One of the students said "iski mumma nahi hai! Iske toh papa bhi nahi aaye hai.." others laughed at her.

Khushi gets annoyed, she broke a few things. Just then Manvi returns and was shocked to see that "Khushi.." she nearly shouted

Khushi glanced at her, Manvi sighed deeply "bharosa karna seekho khushi.. Have some patience.. Koi kuch bhi kahega toh tum apna hi nuksan karogi" she said as she understood what must have happened seeing the reaction of the students across her.

Khushi made a face, Manvi stared at her "ab inse hi kuch karna padega.."

Khushi gets an idea and she tells it to Manvi. She smiles and they both began to work on the project. Manvi guided her and Khushi followed her instructions.

Three hours passed by, and the host announced "And the time ends! Parents students please stop"

Everyone paused and submitted the project. The instructor said "beta apni maa ka naam toh likho"
