Chapter 36: Calling him Dadda

Khushi, enjoying her time with friends, faced a suddensetback when the teacher declared, "Khushi, tum next activity mein hissanahi le sakti."

In disbelief, Khushi questioned, "Kyun?"

The teacher explained, "Isme maa bacha ya pita aur bacha hi part le sakte hai! Koi guardian nahi."

Khushi, convinced of the unfairness, argued, "Yehgalat hai."

The teacher firmly stated, "Rule hai follow karna hoga," leaving Khushi in anger as she walked away.

Aarav, witnessing the confrontation, approached Khushiand asked, "Kya hua?"

She informed him everything and her disappointment visible on her face. 

Learning the situation, a smile crossed Aarav's face,"Tum part lena chahti ho?"

"Haan!" she said

Khushi affirmed, to which Aarav reassured her, "Thik hai main baat karta hun,"

"Are rule hai.. Aapne promise kiya tha no Aaravgiri" Khushi said

"Relax.. Promise nahi tootega" dismissing concerns about breaking any promises.

Approaching the lady, Aarav greeted her with charm,"Hello! Charming!"

She glanced at him with a smile "aap" she addressed him. 

He attempted to convince her, "Aapne Khushi komana kiya hissa lene se. That's unfair na!"

When she mentioned the rules, Aarav, with aflirtatious look, inquired, "Mere liye bhi?"

"Nahi! Thik hai wo hissa le sakti hai par uske baad..." She agreed reluctantly. 

"Jahan aap kahe.." he agreed to her condition. 

Her face lights up hearing him "ji.." she places Khushi's and his name and as she walked away, Aarav winked at Khushi.

Khushi passed him a fake smile and turned away. 

As they stood together for the activity, the host introduced the challenge, emphasizing the importance of parents supporting their children. 

"Aaj har maa baap ko apne bache ke liye fight karni hogi.. Harness se bande jayenge aapke bache pure safety precautions ke saath. Jaise jaise parent aap unki aur badhte jayenge rukawatein aati jayengi.. Ek parent dusre ko manipulate kar sakta hai aur agar wo ho gaya toh team out ho jayegi! Bache ko apne maa baap ko encourage karna hoga.. It's all a mind game.. Test hoga trust, intelligence, love aur loyalty ka.. Chaliye shuru karte hai" the host announced

Khushi goes and gets ready to be tied up with the harness. "come on Khushi tum yeh jeet hi nahi sakti ho! He is just your guardian.. Dekhna pehle hurdle mein hi out ho jaogi tum" Khushi's friends teased her, predicting failure due to Aarav being just a guardian. 

Khushi, irritated, responded, "Shut up!"

The game commenced, and Aarav encountered obstacles. His first obstacle was a parent holding a bottle of whiskey.  He stared at him "get off my way.. Warna acha nahi hoga tumhare liye" 

"Sure.. par apni pasinda cheez toh le lijiye" he said.

Aarav takes it from his hand and Khushi stares at him. "No.. Mr. Malhotra aapne ye liya toh aap haar jaoge..." she thought.

He throws it away and pushes him to the side refusing to be manipulated. Khushi notices he wasn't manipulating any of the parents. A smile appears on her face and she realizes he is being real. Two to three ladies block his way, and try to divert him.

"Mr. Malhotra!! This is a trap.." Khushi warns. 

"Very intelligent meri kamzoriyon pe vaar karna! Par aap sab mujhe abtak jaan hi nahi paaye hai! Main aap logo ko entertain karne ke mood mein nahi hun!" Aarav cleverly responded and moves ahead.
