STILES kept a grip on my arm, dragging me toward Scott just after he dragged me away from my locker without any context or explanation.
Anyone else would've pushed him off by now, but after being dragged around for the last few years, I just learned to accept it.
"Hey, come here," Stiles ordered, grabbing Scott and pulling us away.
"What's he doing?" Scott quietly asked me with an annoyed look.
"Your guess is better than mine," I muttered, stopping behind a wall with them.
When Stiles leaned around the corner, Scott and I followed suit to see Sheriff Stilinski and another officer talking with our principal.
"Tell me what they're saying," Stiles whispered, pointing toward his father.
"Seriously?" I deadpanned, sending him a pointed look.
Grabbing my chin, he faced me back to his father. "Can you hear them?"
I swatted his hand away. "Be quiet for a second," I grumbled, focusing on his father's voice.
"We want everyone under the age of eighteen to be in their home by 9:30 p.m.," his father said in a hushed tone. "We'd like to institute the curfew effective immediately."
When I looked away and faced back to Stiles, his hazel eyes were solely focused on me, making butterflies erupt in my stomach.
Oh god, this crush was only getting worse.
"Curfew because of the body," I informed him, and Scott nodded his agreement.
Stiles stepped back, throwing his hands out. "Unbelievable. My dad's out looking for a rabid animal while the jerkoff who actually killed the girl is just hanging out, doing whatever he wants." He sent me an apologetic look. "No offense."
Shrugging my shoulders, I said, "I'm used to your opinion on my cousin by now."
"You can't exactly tell your dad the truth about Derek," Scott pointed out.
"I can do something," Stiles countered.
"Like what, exactly?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest and leaning back against the wall.
"Like, find the other half of the body," he casually said before turning around and walking away from us.
"Are you kidding?" Scott called out, only earning Stiles's silence in return.
"He's not joking," I groaned, dropping my head back against the wall. "Stiles is going to get us either killed or arrested one day."

SITTING in Scott's room after school, I scribbled down my answers for the Chemistry homework, only to stop, looking toward Scott's bedroom door when I heard the front door slam, followed by running footsteps.
