"CAN you stop tapping my desk with your pencil?" I harshly whispered to Stiles, pushing his hand away from my desk

"CAN you stop tapping my desk with your pencil?" I harshly whispered to Stiles, pushing his hand away from my desk. "That is the most annoying sound."

Widening his eyes, he put his hands up in mock surrender. "Someone didn't get their beauty sleep," he muttered.

But he wasn't wrong.

Last night, I barely slept after I woke up in shock, thinking I had heard a wolf's howl. It took me hours before I could finally get back to sleep, only to wake up an hour later.

Then this morning, I managed to spill coffee all over my outfit and only had time to change into the most boring outfit of jeans and a black shirt with black boots before Stiles dragged me out of the house to school.

Turning back to Scott, Stiles tapped his pencil on his shoulder as our teacher started handing back our tests. "If Derek isn't the Alpha, if he's not the one who bit you, then who did?"

"That's our problem, Einstein," I remarked, leaning closer to them. "We have no idea."

Stiles dragged a hand down his face. "Did the Alpha kill the bus driver?"

"I don't know," Scott answered without looking back at us.

Frowning, Stiles leaned back in his chair as I rolled my eyes at him. "Does Allison's dad know about the—"

"I don't know!" Scott yelled, turning around in his chair to glare at Stiles as the whole class turned in our direction.

This wasn't going well.

"Are you trying to piss him off?" I muttered to Stiles, taking my test back from our teacher before she handed Stiles his. "An A," I hummed, proud of my result. "What did you guys get?"

"An A again," Stiles proudly said, holding it up to me as I laughed at his goofy expression.

My laugh quieted down when I looked at Scott, seeing the D- and a note at the top of his paper.

"Dude, you need to study more," Stiles whispered and I slapped him on the back of the head. "Ow! You're gonna make me bald there! That was joke. Scott, it's one test. You're gonna make it up."

Rolling my eyes, I leaned closer to Scott. "You know, if you need, I can help you study."

"No thanks," Scott declined my offer. "I'm studying with Allison after school today."

I smiled in response. "Awwww."

Stiles, on the other hand, raised his brows with an amused expression. "That's my boy!" he said happily.

"We're just studying," Scott stated.

Playfully rolling my eyes, I leaned back in my chair. "No, you're not," I laughed, and Stiles eagerly nodded his head

Turning around, Scott looked between the two of us with a confused expression, brows deeply furrowed. "No, I'm not?"

"Not if I'm forced to live vicariously through you," Stiles stated as if it were the obvious, while I sent him a grossed-out look. "If you go to her house today and squander that colossal opportunity, I swear to God, I'll have you de-balled."
