Pov. Nya
I was training in the monastery courtyard when I heard our old postman, I quickly opened the gate to see him struggling to breathe
"I've... got... mail.." Postman said while trying to catch his breath
"Mail? but no one ordered anything-" I said confused and walked up to the men helping him sit down and giving him bottle of water
"It's from the palace" He said and I immediately halt myself, the palace? what did they wanted from us?
"Here take it-" Postman said giving me the nice looking letter with I guessed royal seal on it
"Alright thank you!" I yelled alfter the postman when he nearly left out of my sight. I then turn on my earpiece
"Guys meeting in the living room in 5 minutes, I think we've got small issue.." I said while looking at the letter and went inside the monastery. After 5 minutes everyone were in the room
"So Nya? What's wrong?" My brother asked. I hesitantly put the already open letter on the table.
"This. The royal family wants us to come to the palace because of what happend at the event, They're scared for their daughter's safety.." I said quietly. I also instantly got disagreement from the team
"not happening" Said Cole while finishing his chocholate cake
"I don't really like that idea..." Jay said rubbing his arms nervously cutie
"Last time we did that a massive chaos happend-" My brother cut in
"Probability of same thing happening is 70%" Zane said with his nindroid voice, I think I need to oil his gears a little because he started walking weird
"No." Lloyd said quietly but firmly
"And I think you should go." A voice suddenly spoke up everyone recognised it as Wu's voice
"But Sensei! what if the same thing happen???" Cole asked
"What if the princess will turn evil again?" Jay asked
"What if you won't do anything and someone will harm the princess? Do not let past get to you, You must live the future not the past or the regret will hunt for the rest of your life." Wu said calmly. That's actually smart- Wu's right if we don't go something may happen to the princess and besides if the princess turs evil we'll have to deal with it anyway-
"That's actually pretty convincing argument-" Jay said with a small smile. Everyone agreed with him... well almost
"No way we're doing that." Lloyd spoke up suddenly
"Lloyd we can't just abandon the situation-" Cole tried to reason with blonde boy but he cut cake lover off
"I said no. No way in hell we'll go to the palace. I won't make the same mistake again." Lloyd says with angry tone
"Lloyd calm yourself" Wu said softly but firmly
"Stop teling me to calm down! I am calm! And we are not going to the palace!!" Lloyd yelled angrily, his eyes turned red and his Oni and dragon's traits showed up (like fangs, little horns, youngling dragon wings and tail). Lloyd stormed off outside. A few seconds later Kai stood up.
"I'll take care of it" He said and went after Lloyd.
Pov. Kai
After Lloyd stormed off I decided to go after him
"I'll take care of it" I said softly and went after him. I didn't have to look for long because as soon as I went outside I heard soft growling form the rooftop. i knew it was Lloyd because I caught him doing that after a fight one time. I was the first one to learn about his Oni and dragon traits. I swiftly jumped on the roof and sat down next to him, then I gently petted his hair. he always liked that..
"Better?" I asked softly when he leaned against me
"A little.... I just don't understand, I don't want to make the same fucking mistake again..." He said quietly while hugging his knees and hiding his face in them
"Well, you know not everyone are the same kid. You can't judge a book by it's cover- you have similar story, you are a son of an evil Lord yet you're a hero... Give her a chance will you? You did save her yesterday didn't ya?" I tried to reasoning
"She could be acting.." He said. Oh my First Spinjitzu Master I can't with this kid-
"Lloyd..." I said firmly
"Got it- Bad choice of words" boy quickly says and i chuckle
"Come on you'll tell the others your choice-" I said getting up. blonde boy did the same. We walked back to the living room, everyone were still there-
"Guys-" I said getting everyones attention
"Pack you bags we're leaving for the palace in the morning." Lloyd said with a smirk and everyone cheered.
