22. Nightmare

|Tw. Blood, gore, swearing, panic attacks|

Pov. Lloyd

Everything was dark. I didn't know if I was still trapped in my head or it was just dark.. I opened my eyes to see the grey void, my wrists were bounded in chains, I looked up to see me?

"What the hell...?" I whispered, just then I saw a katana in its hand... it had blood on it...

More shadows appeared. And they slowly revealed themselves, first was Kai. He had massive gash on his face with blood tricking down, he was holding his hand that was distorted at a weird angle.

"Lloyd snap out of it!" He yelled and I felt my heart sunk when the other me quickly moved behind Kai and plunged the katana in his back. Kai fell to the floor limp.

The next shadow was Nya, she had blood stained gi and injured leg.

"Nya run please!" I yelled but it was like they didn't even see or hear me...

The other me charged at her, she didn't even have time to react when it cut her stomach.

"No Nya!! Wake up please!" I yelled again with tears in my eyes but she too fell to the floor next to her brother

The next shadow appeared to be Zane. He had sparks coming out of his chest and his eyes were glitching out, yet he still tried to fight.

"No, no, no, no... I can't... Zane p-please..." I sobbed as something didn't let me close my eyes or turn away forcing me to watch everything

It used my Spinjitzu to defeat Zane who fell to the floor all broken

The next ones were Cole and Jay, they were standing back to back and had multiple serious injuries all over them. The other me quickly moved to Jay and plunged its katana into his stomach plunging Cole in the process too

"No! Guys please!" I cried out but when I saw the last shadow I froze.

"Y/n! Get out of there! Please I can't lose you!!" I cried once I saw her, she was crying, shaking and covered in blood. She was on her knees clutching her arms while looking down. She was much closer to me, almost in front of me. I cried harder. She can't die... no, no, no, no... Y/n... please no... I love you... please no... I thought and saw the other me walking towards her with a bloody katana in its hand

"Get away from her! Please! She doesn't deserve to die!" I yelled. But it raised the katana up in the air and a massive green dragon appeared behind it. The dragon roared and charged at Y/n

"No! Stop that!!" I yelled at the dragon but it didn't listen and wrapped itself around Y/n, her pained scream filled my ears and I got to finally close my eyes. But when I opened them I was the one standing in front of her. My clothes and hands were bloody and I held the katana too. I quickly dropped the weapon and bolted for Y/n, I scooped her in my eyes and started crying

"Please wake up... don't leave me Y/n..." I choked quietly and closed my eyes.

I woke up with a jolt and looked around my surroundings but I didn't see anything, it was too dark. I fell off of something and backed away to the corner of the room I was in. I felt like my lungs were refusing to obey and I couldn't breathe. The tears just started falling, I frantically tried to look around but I couldn't see anything. I started shaking and hugged my knees. I was having a panic attack.

Pov. Y/n

I turned on the other side where Lloyd was with a content smile because I wanted to cuddle with him but I frowned slightly when I was met with a cold and empty side.

I opened my eyes and sat up. My eyes turned to the corner of my room once I heard quiet sobbing and rapid breathing

It was Lloyd
He was shaking and crying
He had a panic attack.

Fuck, fuck, fuck- I said in my thoughts and quickly got up, I walked up to him and keel down in front of him. I gently tapped his knee

"Lloyd...? Hey what happened...?" I asked softly, he wouldn't budge

"Hey... it's alright now... you're safe, we're back in the palace..." I tried again. He looked up, I could tell that his eyes were puffy from crying. He then moved and before I knew it he was hugging me tightly, he was still shaking and crying. I gently patted his hair

"Shhhh... you're safe... we all are... it's Okey..." I said and hugged him for comfort

"I thought I lost you..." He said with a shaky voice

"Did you have a nightmare?" I asked softly, he nodded

"It's alright... it was only a nightmare... I'm alright and well..." I said quietly and gently kissed his forehead. I felt like he was calming down and smiled

"Let's get some more sleep hm? How does that sound?" I asked

"I'd like that..." He answered quietly, I helped him get up. He walked up to the bed wobbly. I guess the poison still works- maybe the spell sustained the effects...

I climbed on the bed and laid down on my bed, Lloyd weakly crawled up to me and laid down in my arms, I played with his soft and fluffy blonde hair while he was calming down, when I was sure he fell asleep I sighed in relief and fell asleep myself.
