Looking straight at Kash, I can't help but notice how different he looks. His eyes are bright red! As they stand in positions, Kash pulls up his sleeves. Never taking his eyes off of Carlos. Carlos laughs, claps his hands, and says "You could've actually had a real team instead of fighting for that little bitch and her friends."
Kash looks to me and straight back to Carlos. "I'll pass." He says quickly.
Carlos darts forward rumbling the ground he walks on. Kash darts forward as well. Throwing one leg forward, he stops himself and slides on one knee. Carlos laughs. "Why the hell is he stopping?!" I scream.
Kash chuckles and claps his hands together causing a red line to shoot out from his fingertips. Confused, I never take my eyes off of him. It wraps around one of Carlos's ankles and Kash pulls his hands back causing Carlos to flip backwards. After Carlos hits the ground the red line falls and splats onto the ground. Is that blood? What the fuck?! Carlos gets up, angrier than before and stomps one foot onto the ground. Splitting it open! Kash immediately jumps out of the way and rolls onto one side. Carlos laughs out loud and screams "Bet you didn't expect that now did ya newbie?" As the dust clear up and we can see Kash clearly, he turns around and smiles at me!?! "Huh!?!?!" I shriek.
He gets ups and dashes to the split. Carlos again laughs as he picks up heavy boulders to throw at Kash. As I go to scream "Kash! What in the actual hell-" he jumps over the split and turns to Carlos holding his hands up mimicking pistols, midair. He lets out a laugh and shoots blood made arrows into the direction of the boulders, and Carlos. Startled, Carlos jumps out of the way. Kash lands on the other side of the split and immediately claps his hands together again shooting another line of blood into Carlos's direction. He wraps it around his waist and he pulls Carlos to him with all of his strength. One of the boulders that missed landed onto the ground just in time and Kash runs towards the split again. Swinging Carlos around, he jumps over once more throwing Carlos into the boulder. "Wow...." I whisper to myself. Kash lands on his knees and grabs his chest.
The intercom goes off, "That's a knockout! Winner is Kash!!" The crowd screams and cheers him on but he's still there, holding his chest.
Everything is fading out. The screaming. The yelling. The excitement. I am looking straight at Kash. Worried. "Why isn't he moving?" I say to Monsai and Tsuki. Jumping over the bar, Monsai and Tsuki reach for me and scream, "Chibi Chan! Wait!!" They're too late. I'm running as fast as I can and notice the split approaching. I throw my hands forward and jump, closing the split back up and landing behind Kash. He's breathing very hard, holding his chest tightly. "Kash...?" I quietly say to him.
He's still breathing very heavy. I reach out and grab his shoulder. "Kash! It's okay now! You did it!" He lets out one more deep breathe and turns to look up at me. I can see the glow from his eyes. He blinks and they go back to being brown. Kash stands and I take a couple steps back. "Let's go back, okay?" I say quietly. He smiles, moving his locs as we head back that way. I wanted to ask. Can he manipulate blood? Does it hurt? Maybe now isn't the right time. As I walk back to Monsai and Tsuki, Kash follows me. We arrive back to them.
"Kash, you've already met Monsai. This is my best friend Tsuki!" Tsuki turns to look at Monsai and says, "Oh...hello Kash" so calmly. I can hear Kash gulp, literally.
"It's a pleasure to meet you!" he then quickly says. He looks to Monsai and nods. Monsai nods back at him. Smiling from ear to ear I scream, "I'm glad we've all introduced ourselves....at some point....BUT YES! I'm glad!" The three of them giggle. The ground starts to shake a little, all startled, I turn around. It's...Carlos! SHIT! He's walking over to Kash and he doesn't look happy. Monsai quickly walks up to stand beside Kash and he looks pissed off too. Tsuki doesn't move but instead just grabs my arms keeping me put. Carlos screams, "I want a rematch you scum! How did you even get accepted into the tournament?! With a power like that?! You don't belong here!" As he growls and continues walking forward. Kash went to speak but he stops and grabs his chest. He must be in pain. Monsai quickly notices and steps INFRONT of Kash. Carlos stops. "You don't want to get involved! I'm telling you!" Carlos says.
Monsai looks straight at Carlos, glaring.
Tsuki grabs my arm tighter than before. It doesn't hurt but I can tell she's bothered. Monsai then says, "Well well...looks like we have an insecure mother fucker.....right there" then points to Carlos. Carlos stops even more furious. "If it's such a big deal to you, then we can battle after this instead." Monsai says, so calmly. Before Carlos could even speak the intercom goes off.
"Next up we have Monsai facing Mako!"
Carlos quickly says, "you-you're lucky!" Turning his head fast as hell to look at Carlos, Monsai says "No! You're lucky!" Then walks off. Me and Tsuki look to eachother and our mouths drop. As Monsai walks to place, Kash walks to me and Tsuki. Monsai looks over to us and smiles from ear to ear, then covering his face with his cloak. Here we go. It's Monsai's time to shine.
