Evrin's point of view

Two months passed since we last hung out, I had recently been hanging out with Emily while I looked at the photo I took of him that night we shared while enjoying ice cream. I knew that he would be better off forgetting about me so he could be happy with someone else even though it would hurt for awhile.

I wasn't sure what would happen between us after today but I decided to let him go so he could focus on his career and I would focus on my career too.

Emily: Evrin, me and Mitch are going to the adventure park. Do you want to come with us?

Evrin: maybe another day, I've got to work tonight so I need to head home and get ready for that.

Emily: okay. If I don't see you later tonight, I will see you tomorrow.

Evrin: okay Em, you two have fun and use protection.

Mitch: very funny Evrin.

I watched as they walked away from me and I sat around for a little while longer listening to the sounds of the ocean crashing against the shore while the sun was setting over the horizon.

I walked back home and got a quick shower before I headed to work, the night was busier than usual but I got my fair share of tips and numerous guys flirting with me which wasn't new to me since the drunk guys often did but I acted like it didn't bother me even though it did.

I finally got back home when I seen a bouquet of roses laying on my doorstep and a note taped to the door. I picked up the roses and pulled the note away from the door as I stepped inside my home and closed the door then locked it before I read what was on the note.

I know this isn't what you were probably expecting but I think it will be better if we never see each other again, I know this note and flowers will get to you but I couldn't bring myself to tell you in person because I don't want to see you crying,

I apologize for ending things this way and I know it will hurt for awhile cause what we had was real but I think it will be better if we both moved on with our lives like we never met each other.

I placed the flowers in a vase and I knew it would probably be a waste of time but I decided to return the favor and write a note back to him and tape it to his front door.

I know that we haven't exactly been the way friends should be but despite the arguments we had in the past, I don't regret the memories we had together.

I hope you get the chance to live your dreams and that you become a famous musician, I will always support you with whatever you choose to do with your life

No matter if we're in the same city or thousands of miles apart, I will always be your number one fan.

I headed back home after I taped the note to his door and packed my things and made the long journey back to Tennessee after I arranged for my things to be flown back to where I would be living at which was with my brother because I didn't want to see our parents until I completely got over him not being in my life anymore.
