Evrin's point of view

Two months passed since the birth of Ryder and I returned on the road with Alec and his band. I knew that he wanted to make it a family thing but I felt like he kept putting off the wedding so he could have more concerts. I was spending the day with Brantley so he could spend time with his niece and nephew when he noticed that something was bothering me.

Brantley: what's bugging ya kiddo?

Evrin: it's the whole engagement with Alec, I feel like he's booking more concerts and band events just to push back getting married. I don't think he wants that kind of commitment and I don't want to cause any argument.

Brantley: he just wants to provide for his kids and you since you don't make as much as he does.

Evrin: I know that I don't make alot of money but I wouldn't push back our wedding day. We could have been married last month but he booked several concerts since that time.

Brantley: I know how much you love him but you need to talk with him about how you feel.

Evrin: I know that I should but I feel like his music is more important than anything else in his life right now.

Brantley: a musician's life isn't easy but it should never come before family, if he chooses his music over you and the kids than maybe you should be the one to show him what he's doing by staying home and doing what you were doing before, I'm sure your youtube followers miss you.

Evrin: I didn't realize that you watched my videos.

Brantley: I've seen a couple and you were doing great at doing your daily vlogs and dancing, you should make a career out of it again.

I headed back to where Alec was and seen him on stage rehearsing with the guys when he seen me standing near the stage.

Alec: hey babe, how do we sound?

Evrin: you guys sound great. Can I talk with you about something in private baby?

Alec: sure, take five guys.

I felt him grab my hand as we walked to the tour bus so we could talk in private.

Alec: what's wrong baby?

Evrin: I was wondering if you were still interested in getting married, I don't want to ruin any of your concert dates but I feel like you keep getting more events just to avoid us getting married.

Alec: of course I still want to marry you babe, I know how important it is to you and I never wanted you to feel like I was putting it off.

Evrin: I know that it's all happening so fast and I don't want to come between you and your music but I...

Alec: if it means that much to you we can get married tomorrow, I don't ever want you to feel like I don't want to marry you cause I do.

Evrin: I love you but I don't want to make you feel like I'm rushing things or ruining your plans.

Alec: you're always going to be the most important part of my life along with our kids, I can always move a concert to another day and marry you first.

Evrin: I want to get married soon, if that's okay with you.

Alec: I will marry you soon I promise.

Evrin: I love you.

Alec: I love you too.
