*GEOFFREY'S POV*

When we all arrived home from downtown, the house was uninhabited. Everything was quiet and peaceful until Fernando came running through the doors.

"Geoffrey, lets go play outside!" Fer suggested.

"Fernando, its been a long day. For everyone. We should all have some time to ourselves in our rooms. Go sleep honey," She ruffled Fer's hair and smiled down at him. Her belly made it hard for Fer to have a clear view of her.

"Okay, see you all tomorrow," I waved bye to everyone and went upstairs to my own room. I was actually going to stop by Alex's room. All the texts and calls I left her had yet to be answered. I knocked once.

"Alex, you in there?" I whispered. No answer. I knocked a second time, "Alex?" Still nothing so I slowly opened the door. There was no one in there. Her suitcase was also gone.

"What the fuck?" I said to myself, "Where'd she go now?" I checked the bathroom and closet just in case she was in there hiding or whatever little thing Alex might be doing. But all was empty. I knew deep down inside I expected for her to be there.

A piece of me wanted to hug her and say how much I missed her and how much fun I had and talk to her about what I did like the old days. Another piece of me wanted to bang my head on a brick wall because of how much of a jerk I realized I had been to her. A last piece of me wanted to be home writing music and knowing Alex was in her room. Disappointed, I walked back to my own room slowly. I closed and locked the door before turning to my phone and not finding a message or call from Alex. Junior wasn't even home. I decided to shower. Nothing beat the cold water running down all your body.

As I started washing my hair, I remembered the time Alex ran away from home right after her break up with Jacob.

The bus was on my stop now. I'd just closed up the store. The snow made for great entertainment while I waited. When the bus stopped and the people got out, I gave the bus driver money and got on the first seat my butt could make it to.

"What's a teen like you doin' here?" He driver asked.

"Just got off work," My gloved hands brushed off the snow from my jeans.

"Do most teens work this late?"

"I'm not exactly sure, why?"

"That young lady also just got off work. She's been here for the last three stops and I hope she realizes this is the last stop," I turned and sure enough a girl had a blanket over her face. She was leaning back with her feet on top of the seat in front of her, clearly asleep.

"I'm tired too," I leaned back and stared at all the buildings passing by. Soon, the bus was slowing down. This was my stop. I heard the girl moving around and coughing. I turned around and her blanket fell off her. It was Alex in a beanie, sweats, and her big warm jacket.

"Alex?" I was very surprised to see her here. She'd been gone for four days now.

She glanced outside before looking at me with wide eyes.

"What a surprise," She put her feet down and sat up.

"Yeah," I blinked a little then smiled.

My thoughts were interrupted by a call from Alex while I was in bed.

"Alex?"

"Yeah."

"Where are you?"

"None of your business."

"Okay but are you safe?"

"Yeah."

"You okay?"

"Yeah, I just felt like crap and decided to leave."

"Why?"

"What do you mean why? My family adores you so I'll let them adore you. I'll see you at PJ anyways."

"For real?"

"Sadly."

"Alex look, I'm really---"

"Listen Geoffrey, take your damn apology and stick it up your ass. I'll see you at the PJs."

"You're going?"

"Geoffrey, a few weeks ago I wouldn't shut the fuck up about me doing interviews on the red carpet, were you listening?"

"Oh right. Yes I remember. See you at PJs then," I really hoped she wouldn't hang up on me.

"And Geoffs?" She continued.

"Yeah?" I sounded a little too eager.

"Tell Fer I love him for me," She sounded sad but still sarcastic.

"I will."

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Neither of us hung up. Her breathing was steady and everything else was quiet.

"Are you hanging up?" She asked sarcastically.

"Um."

"Um what?"

"Bye," I clicked the red button on my phone and everything got quiet again.
