Ch 13

Waking up the next day I groan feeling weak and dizzy headed but I reluctantly get up putting on my glasses and check my phone I a little surprised when I see a text from Bomin asking if I want to hang out I agreeing eagerly. I quickly get dressed then let Raedan know I'm leaving and head out to meet Bomin at the park. Once I arrive I skip over to the masked figure sitting on the bench and say cheerfully. "Hey!" He looks up and looks around before taking off his mask smiling. "Hi. How are you? I barely heard from you yesterday after you left." I shrug saying simply. "I had to take care of a few things for Raedan and help him out with something so I was pretty busy." He slowly nods then says softly. "I was wondering if you wanted to check out a new book cafe that just opened." I immediately perk up and grin happily. "Sure! Let's go!" He goes to put his mask back on but I stop him and touch his cheek with my fingers using the simple masking spell I know. "There now you won't be noticed." He gives me an appreciative look and then gets up leading me down the street to a large cafe I immediately looking around in awe where we head to the counter. "What do you want?" I snap out of my little daze giving my order and before I can get cash out Bomin's handing over his card I immediately trying to protest. "You didn't have to pay for me I could have paid for my half." He gives me a reassuring smile. "It's fine I got it." I slowly nod and grab my drink when they're handed to us then head over to a table where we sit and chat while drinking our drinks. After a while of chatting I suddenly get a text I checking it and frown slightly when I see it's from Raedan asking me to come home. "Oh. I need to get going." I think I see Bomin look a little disappointed but when I blink he just gives a little nod and we get up throwing away our empty cups. We then head outside I turning to Bomin with a smile. "Thanks for paying today you don't have to." He gives me a little reassuring smile. "It's fine I didn't mind paying." I smile and look up into his eyes getting lost in them for a moment before I suddenly get this bold urge I leaning up and peck his lips he immediately tensing then takes a step back saying anxiously. "I gotta go." Before I can say anything he runs off and I immediately feel my heart shatter then reluctantly make my way home feeling miserable and heartbroken cursing myself. "So stupid. Of course he doesn't like me romantically. I ruined everything." I sigh as I make it home letting myself in and check on Raedan keeping a cheerful expression on my face until I get to my room I locking the door and fall onto my bed where I immediately burst into tears.

(Bomin's Pov)

Feeling Talon's lips on mine I immediately tense as I feel a little spark run through me but then I remember Raedan and I quickly back away saying anxiously. "I gotta go." I see heartbreak in Talon's eyes but I quickly run away before he can say anything I just making it to the dorm when I feel the spell to disguise my face wears off. I walk in feeling sad and guilty a miserable look on my face Daeyeol immediately giving me a concerned look. "Everything alright Bomin?" I sigh and shake my head no. "No everything isn't alright hyung." He gives me a curious worried look. "What's wrong?" I hesitate before blurting out anxiously. "Talon kissed me." Daeyeol looks at me in surprise. "Did you kiss back?" I shake my head no. "I wanted to but I kept thinking about Raedan and how they're meant to be. I couldn't kiss him when he's with someone else." Daeyeol gives me a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry Bomin. I know it's hard to see someone you like so much with someone else." I give him a curious look. "You like someone too hyung?" He blushes a little before saying honestly. "Yeah actually but it's complicated." I tilt my head but he waves it off changing the subject. "But if Talon is with Raedan then why did he kiss you?" I shrug looking miserable. "I don't know hyung I felt to guilty and anxious so I just left." He frowns a little but I just say in a soft sad tone. "I'm just going to go to my room." He gives me a worried sympathetic look but I just bypass him and head to mine and Donghyun's room where I fall onto my bed laying there with my face buried in the pillows before I slowly turn onto my back and pull out my phone going through the silly pictures Talon would send me out of boredom my heart hurting.
