Ch 14

*a few days later*

Waking up with a start to a loud mewing sound I quickly put on my glasses and weakly scramble out of bed before I rush to Raedan's room. I burst through the door only to frown in concern when I see him lying on his bed shirtless and in only a pair of boxers halfway transformed with a pair of cat ears on his head and a tail. He squirms around looking like he's in agony pain filled mews coming from him. I move closer reaching for his forehead only to wince when I can practically feel the heat coming off his body he looking at me with a desperate look in his eyes the only word coming from him is "please." I look at him worriedly having never seen his heat get this bad before. I rush to the bathroom wetting a washcloth with cold water then run back to Raedan and place the rag on his forehead he whining and begs again. "Please!" I frown not knowing what to do. "Please what Raedan I don't understand." He mews in pain again his tail curling around his waist he finally managing to choke out. "Please! Need them please!" Realization hits me that's he's begging for Daeyeol and Sungyoon I quickly saying reassuringly. "I'll go get them Raedan just wait here okay? I'll be as fast as possible." I rush to my room grabbing my phone and immediately call Bomin only to frown when it's sent to voicemail I trying again and again only to growl in frustration when he won't answer. Fed up and worried I grab a crystal and place a tracking spell on it before feeling a pull I letting the magic in the crystal guide me until I reach the guys entertainment company. I greet the guard and rush inside running up the stairs as fast as possible until I reach the practice room floor and rush to the door with the guys music playing. I don't even hesitate before I burst inside the guys all looking at me in surprise as I weakly pant a little breathless from running all the way here. The music is cut off and Daeyeol asks curiously. "What brings you here Talon?" I manage to pant out the words "Radean" and "help." Daeyeol and Sungyoon immediately look worried and concerned as I catch my breath Sungyoon asking anxiously. "What happened?" I finally sit up and give them both a pleading look. "Please he's experiencing an extremely intense and painful heat cycle and he needs you." Everyone looks at me in confusion. "What's a heat cycle?" I sigh and quickly explain. "You know how cats go into heat and go all feral and stuff with need? That's what he's experiencing right now and it's extremely bad." They all look at each other before Daeyeol asks hesitantly. "I thought you'd want to help him through it since you guys are soulmates and everything." I give him a stern look. "I'd help him if I could but he's asking for you and Sungyoon. And I'd hate to see what would happen if he doesn't have you two help him." They both look at each other before looking at me. "And this won't bother you?" I give them a weird look. "Of course not he's in pain and needs you both." They slowly nod and I give them my address and key as they head downstairs to have a car take them to my apartment. I then turn to the others but my eyes lock on Bomin I immediately feeling that sad heartbroken feeling again when suddenly Jangjun asks curiously. "How can you just let two guys go be with your soulmate? If it was my partner I'd get extremely upset and jealous." I give him a weird look. "Why would I get extremely upset and jealous of him being with Daeyeol and Sungyoon hyung? He's his own person he can be with whoever he wants to." Everyone immediately looks confused. "But aren't you guys together? I mean if I had a boyfriend I wouldn't want him to be with others." I blink at Jaehyun's words then immediately burst out into laughter everyone looking at me like I've gone insane. I finally calm down to a few giggles and explain in amusement. "Raedan isn't my boyfriend." They all look at me in confusion Tag saying cautiously. "But you guys always say you're soulmates." I smile and shake my head. "We are. Platonic soulmates. Because he's my familiar and we've been friends since childhood." They all still look extremely confused Bomin finally speaking up. "Wait so you two aren't dating?" I look at him and shake my head no explaining. "Bomin it's literally illegal for a witch and their familiar to be romantically involved. Not only that but he's basically my big brother." I see relief cross his features and he moves closer to me. "I thought you were already taken and I don't want to hurt Raedan hyung so I ran away when you kissed me." I blink then give him a slight look. "You should have just asked me for clarification." He looks a little embarrassed. "I'm sorry. We all just assumed that you two were dating because of your closeness and the fact that you called each other soulmates." I cross my arms over my chest. "You can make it up to me by taking me on a date." He blushes and the others start teasing him he finally saying shyly. "Okay." I smile then check the time and grimace. "I gotta go rent me a hotel room so I'll see you guys later. Bomin text me later please." He nods assuring me he will and I leave finding a cheap hotel and head to the room where I crash as soon as I lay down I feeling a lot better.
