Six months after the defeat of Amon and his Equalists, and with the United Republic Council disbanded, Raiko has been elected the United Republic of Nations' first president. While Bumi retired from the United Forces and found a home on Air Temple Island.

At Air Temple Island, Korra is in the midst of an air scooter race with Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo. The four carelessly make their way across the island, nearly running over Pema and Naida who held Rohan. "Watch out!" Naida moves her mother away with her free hand as they pass.

Pema sighs, "I just wish little guy over here will be different. Like me." She says meaning that she hopes Rohan will be a non-bender. Naida chuckles as they continue their walk.

They join the rest while Bumi was talking about a vacation. Korra declares that they are all going to the Southern Water Tribe's Glacier Spirits Festival before going to the air temples, earning the joy of the airbender kids while Tenzin displays a defeated face.

"Great. More cold."Pema says with a forced smile.

On the ship taking the entire party to the Southern Water Tribe, Mako recounts his capture of the triad criminals, and is particularly proud of his line "Looks like you were having car trouble, good thing the police are here."

Naida laughs at this and rests her head on Drogon, still looking at Mako. "Did you write that beforehand ?"

Mako claims he did and pulls out a whole list of different lines he wrote. "Or; when you get to jail, tell them Mako sent ya'."

"Uu~, I like that one." Naida states as Mako puts his list back. "Okay. I'll use that one next time."

He also proudly informs Naida that Chief Lin Beifong says he may be promoted to a detective soon.

Naida says and glances at the sea, "You're probably having so much fun. All I do is stay on the Island and try to figure out what I am!"

Mako furrows his eyebrows in confusion, "What you are?"

"Do you remember when Amon took my bending? And that I brought it back myself?" Mako nods slowly. "Katara claims that my abilities are one of a kind, but that doesn't explain anything!"

Mako sighs and places his hand on her knee in comfort, "They're just looking out for you. Maybe without control, your abilities can become dangerous-"

Naida snaps her head at him, "Dangerous?!" She stands up on her feet. "No, Nai. That's not what I meant-"

Naida points her finger accusingly, "I know exactly what you meant."

She storms off to the other side of the shift while Mako groans in frustration. "How can I handle criminals, but not my own girlfriend?" Drogon in respond yawns.

As the ship arrives at the Southern Water Tribe, Avatar Aang's sons are reunited with their only sister, Kya.

"Move!" Naida freezes her siblings' feet and runs into her aunt's embrace. "Naida, you've grown." Kya pulls away and rests her hand on her niece's shoulder.

"And you haven't aged at all." Naida states as Kya sends her a smile before greeting the rest of the family. Mako was suddenly pulled by Naida, "Gran-Gran, this is Mako." She motions to Mako, "Mako, this is my grandmother, Katara."

Mako bows his head slightly as Katara smiles, "I heard much about you." Mako was stunned by this and began to grow nervous. "Uh-I- It's an honour to finally meet you-" He stopped not knowing how to call her.

"Call me gran-gran." She says as Mako nods.

The two return to Korra and the rest as the Northern Water Tribe ship stops at the dock, with Unalaq and his children stepping down.

"Who are those lovely ladies?" Bolin questions leaning behind Korra, "Those are Eska and Desna. The Chief's children. Desna is a guy."

Bolin lets out a nervous chuckle, "Right, I knew that. Uh, Which one is Desna?"

"The one without the eyeliner" Naida whispers. Unalaq steps over to his brother, "Tonraq."

"Brother." Tonraq spats back, holding  a tense attitude against his sibling.

______

After the festival, It was night time. Korra and Naida were awaken by Naga and Drogon's howling.

Naida runs outside only to find unconscious Mako and Bolin. She glances up and finds Korra fighting with a spirit. Drogon, however, didn't stop with his howling which angered Naida who couldn't think. "Silence, Drogon!"

Naida crouches down to the two brothers and shakes them awake. "H-Help Korra." Mako mumbles weakly.

Tenzin arrives and attempts to speak to the spirit, asking why it is angry, but to no avail as he is immediately batted away. Naida was angered by this as the spirit is hurting her family.

Mako squints his eyes open and finds Naida with an angry expression on her face with her eyes glowing the same as her veins.

Naida charges at the angry spirit. She makes a ramp of ice from the hill and slides into the air. The spirit was about to charge at Korra. Naida sent the spirit multiple attacks, giving Korra advantage to switch into her Avatar State.

Naida and Korra surround the spirit. The Avatar creating an air-spout holding her with Naida behind the spirit doing the same with the water. Naida traps the angry spirit into giant icicles which he easily escaped from and had thrown her aside.

Just as she was about to land a hit into the tree, she swinged her arm and created a slide which was hardened into ice as she slid down to the snow. Naida landed on her feet and was quickly approached by Tenzin. Her eyes switched back to normal as so did her veins.

As the spirit is about to deliver the final blow, it is suddenly put into a trance-like state when Unalaq encircles it with water. The spirit changes color and starts to glow, eventually disappearing.

"What in the spirits..?" Naida mumbles stunned by what just happened.
