On Varrick's battleship, Kya has placed Jinora inside a healing tub in an attempt to stabilize her condition.
Naida was crouched down beside the tub with her head rested on her hands. "What's up with you?" Her aunt suddenly questions.
Naida moved a string of hair from Jinora's face and kept her glance at her sister, "I'm just..stressed." She said with a sigh. Kya chuckles at her respond and continues healing Jinora, "You know you're a bad liar. So, why the hiding?"
Naida sends her a glare before exhaling and glancing down at the water, "You know Asami, right?" She started as Kya nods. "Well, her and Mako kissed. I saw it and completely lost it. I trashed his apartment and everything, we haven't talked since."
"That's rough, sweetie." Kya simply answers, "It was like the spirits did this on purpose. Night before that, I kissed Niko thinking he was Mako." Naida says and stands up. Kya chuckles, "So, what you're saying that, you both cheated on each other?"
Naida thought about it and her aunt was right. She slowly nods as Kya laughs at this, "My advice-personally, is that after we are done with this, you and him need to talk this out. If you both agree, that you cannot be together then it's solved."
"But, I can't leave him. I just can't. It's like he stole my heart and doesn't want to return it." Naida complained.
"I saw how he looks at you and how you look at him, how you two protect each other...Naida, you love each other."
______ When Tenzin describes his plan of attack, which entails "blasting" their way through the blockade at the harbor to rendezvous with Tonraq's forces in order to 'crash' through the Northern defenses around the spirit portal and enter the Spirit World, Kya and Bumi point out that his strategy is uncharacteristically violent for him.
Tenzin promptly declares he will do anything to save Jinora. Intending to give a short talk about strategy, deeming Tenzin's plan to be overly aggressive, especially given their own limited resources, Bumi begins to tell them another one of his war stories, but Tenzin, not taking him seriously, cuts him off.
As Asami joins the group on the deck, she alerts them of their imminent arrival, though also of the distress call she received from the South.
The group arrives at the White Lotus' compound, where Korra reunites with her mother, who tells her that her father has been captured and the entire southern resistance crushed.
Tenzin with his siblings carried Jinora back to his mother where she placed her in a healing tub, immediately working on her.
Outside, Korra informs everyone from talking to the rebels that the spirit portal is heavily guarded, prompting Tenzin to declare they will simply have to break through the enemy lines on their own.
"We did enough talking. We know what our mission is." Naida says to her family as Bolin interrupts, "A suicide mission~"
Bumi began to recount one of his adventures, in which he used a catapult to drop in from above in order to reach a defended oasis in the desert. "Enough of your ridiculous lies! Can't you see that the fate of the world and Jinora's life depends on what we do here today?" Tenzin snaps at his brother's un-seriousness.
Asami was inspired by Bumi's take, "We don't have a catapult, but we do have a flying bison, Naida's dragon and the plane from Varrick's ship."
Korra questions what she was thinking as Asami explains the plan. "Mako, Bolin and I with Naida and Drogon will create a distraction and scatter some of the defences. You, Tenzin and Bumi can fly into the spirit portal with Oogi when you see an opening."
Naida puts what happened between her, Asami and Mako-agreeing with her plan. "Let's get moving then." She says and gets on Drogon.
_____ The four approach the portal with Drogon in lead. Surprisingly, The Northern Water Tribe army were expecting them and manoeuvred through an onslaught of icicle spikes their way.
"Watch out!" Naida yells and grips her legs on the saddle as she leans forward to Drogon. Placing her two palms on him, her eyes glowed as he roared through the sky with a symbol of fire glowing on his head.
Drogon opened his mouth as a blast of fire melted the icicles with the help of Naida destroying them with her water bending while the others destroy the mecha tanks.
Naida felt a sharp pain in her chest as she wasn't bleeding nor was hurt, but Drogon was. His call of cry echoed through the sky as Desna and Eska sever the tail from the plane. "Naida!" Mako yelled as he watched Drogon fall into the floor with weak Naida beside him.
"Hold on!" Asami yelled as they crash beside them, making them all go unconscious.

Naida wakes up later on finding herself in a tent locked up with her family and friends. Her eyes land on the two twins as her mind travelled to how they had hurt Drogon and that he wasn't healed.
"Let me go!" She growled and began pulling the chains. "You don't want us to take his life for good, right?" Ezka says with a smirk.
Naida was even more angered by this and stood on her feet. "Take his life and I'll take yours!" She roared as the twins' eyes were met with her furious glowing ones.
Suddenly Bumi flies through, proclaiming that help has arrived. The twins approach him but Naga knocks them out and Bumi frees his friends and family. Naida quickly rushed out only to find Drogon weakly limbing towards her. Her eyes shine for happiness as she runs into him and embraces him.
Drogon motions to where he was hurt as Naida water-bends the water from the snow and places it on his wound. He screeched from the pain, but relaxed. "Here you go, big boy." Naida said with a smile as Drogon freely stood on his feet and flapped his wings.
Mako smiled at the sight of Naida smiling and being happy as Kya realised it. "Let's go defeat Unalaq once and for all." Naida said informing a fist as she turned to her dragon,
"And I'll hurt those twins just like they did you."
