Naida was by the shore, feeding Drogon with the fish he had caught. Suddenly, she heard a screech coming from the dragon. Unalaq's men were trapping him.
This angered Naida. She water bended two giant tentacles on her arms and extended them, harding the end of it. "Hey! Hands off!" She yelled and broke the wall they had created around him.
"Chief Unalaq ordered to bring this fire creature to him." One of the men said. Naida calmed down Drogon and was stunned by this. "And I'm telling you, hands off my dragon! Or you'll become his dinner instead of the fishes."
The men got in their stance as Drogon growled at them loudly. "What's going on here?!" Korra slides down the cliff and to Naida. "Your uncle wants to detain Drogon. Where is he?"
Korra glances between the men and Naida. "He's on the balcony-"
Drogon quickly shortened himself which left the men shook. He placed himself on Naida's shoulder as the two leave.
______
"What do you mean i'm not allowed?! When it comes to my dragon, I am allowed." Naida spat and pointed her thumb to herself. The guards informed her that the citizens are not allowed to speak with Unalaq unless they're called.
Unalaq peacefully overlooked at the sea when he heard his door being knocked down. Turning his glance towards it, He finds his two guards with wrapped tentacles around their neck. As the person dropped them, it revealed furious Naida.
"Sorry for the mess." She stepped over the weakened guards towards Unalaq. "Naida, is it? What do I own this surprise? Is there something you need?" He questioned in a calm voice.
"All I need is for your men to not ever touch Drogon again, or I won't hold back next time. Is that clear ?" Naida spat. Unalaq squints his eyes towards the girl and exhales, "Clear as the water."
______
Mako and Naida walked around the city as she explained what happened with Unalaq.
"And he was all like 'Clear as the water'." Naida exclaimed and imitated his voice. Mako brought his hand to his chin, thinking. "Why would he want something to do with Drogon?"
Naida shrugs and was stopped by Mako, "Hey, you're stressing too much." He places his hands on her shoulders, "How about I take you on a dinner tonight?"
Naida smiles as the two continue walking, "Yeah, I would like that."
She glances back in front and nudges Mako. She motions him to glance forward. They were met with Bolin rushing to them. "Mako! Nai!" He grabbed his brother's shoulders, "I'm so happy to see you!"
Mako and Naida share a look of confusion, "Did something happen?" Naida questions as Bolin looks up at her, "Yes, something happened! I don't want to live in an icy bliss with Ezka. Don't make me go! Please, please." Bolin sobbed into his brother's chest.
Mako suggested breaking up with her which Bolin was confused by, "You can do that?"
"Yeah, Guys do it all the time."
Naida crossed her arms against her chest, "Don't make me turn you in an icy bliss." She threatened in a whisper. "Just tell her you're not into her anymore." Mako suggested.
"Oh no, I don't think she will like that." Bolin states. Mako was quickly shoved away by Naida's hand. "Don't do what mister heartbreaker says." She said and glared at Mako.
"Take her on a date- or in Ezka's case, take both of them out. Start a conversation with her and say that you're afraid that circumstances are at fault and that you will soon need to return to your city where the citizens need you. Where your friends need you."
Bolin straightens up and thinks about what Naida just said. "Hm. Your plan somehow makes sense- No offence, big bro."
_______
Naida quickly regretted her advice as Bolin had brought the two siblings to her date with Mako. The twins excuse themselves and leave the table. "You guys gotta save me." Bolin whispered.
Mako reminded him of what he had said. "And I told you to take them on a date, not on ours." Naida says and points between her and Mako.
"Why didn't you warn me that Korra's cousins have the power to reach into my heart and crush my soul with their bare hands?" Bolin says as Naida stares at him blankly. "Uh, 'Cause I thought it was pretty obvious."
"No! Not to me it wasn't! I'm bad at reading people, you should know that by now!" Bolin said and dramatically held his head.
______
The next day, Bolin, Asami and Mako were waiting for Varrick in his office. "And the best part about it-" Bolin began to say, but was cut off by Naida who slammed the doors opened with her foot.
"AH!" Bolin quickly jumped and hid behind the couch. "I really don't get people with these complicated doors, honestly." Naida stated and walked inside, stretching her head to the side.
Bolin peeked out of the couch as the doors closed, "As I was saying, Eska doesn't even know I'm here."
The doors were opened again. This time the twins with multiple guards entering. Naida stood by Mako and glanced at them while they search everything. "What's going on?" She questions.
"We search for Varrick. Our father wishes him to stand on trial." Desna answers. "Why? What did he do?" Asami asks. The twin answers that he's a traitor of the Tribe as much as Korra's parents.
"Varrick's not here." One of the guards spoke. "Very well. Let us continue our search elsewhere." Eska states. As she was about to leave, she turns to Bolin and orders him to kneel when she exits.
He does so. The twins exit and as the doors close, Naida creates a water tentacle on her arm and surrounds it around Bolin's waist. "Get up, Bo." She picks him and places him onto his feet. "You're really going to let her control how you move now?" Naida questions as Bolin blames it on Mako's advice.
"You need to be honest with her. Tell her how you really feel." Asami advices, "Honesty is for fools, kid." Varrick's voice was heard as he gave another advice to Bolin. When Asami questions where he is, he simply answers somewhere where they can't find him.
Naida sighs and steps next to the platypus bear. With her water tentacle, she opens the bear's mouth-revealing Varrick. "Coast is clear. You can come out." Naida says and steps in front of him as her friends join her.
"No way, missy. Not until I know it's absolutely 157% safe." He responds as a cup of tea was brought to him from his assistant. He in respond spits it out and blames his assistant for not adding honey as she claims there is none.
"No honey?! We're in a bear for crying out loud!" Varrick yells. Naida exhales and steps towards the door, water-bending her water back into her water skin. "I'm going to see how Korra is."
