Liv drove through the gated community of mansions early Monday morning, with Delilah and Ziggy (and dog) in the backseat of her car. Dave had drove Delilah's car here, and the movers had gotten here earlier with their things from the apartment to get started on moving in.

Liv had seen their mansion in the photos Dave had showed her, so she wasn't too surprised by the pristine white bricks and marble pillars, or the beautiful garden and big trees in the front and back gardens.

Liv also knew Dave's plans for christmas, and this house was about to become Santa's grotto.

She pulled the car up in the driveway, watching movers carry things inside from the van before her eyes found Dave talking to a neighbour and his dog.

"You know, considering I grew up with a home meth lab in the garage, this is..." Ziggy trailed off into a yawn, rubbing his face. "This is an upgrade. Is this what it's like to be rich?"

"You might wanna get used to it," Liv said, parking the car and opening the door. "Welcome home, guys."

"Home?" Ziggy murmured, looking at Delilah. "I'm gonna need a fucking map to get around here."

"Swear jar starts today, Ziggy," Dave called from where he was stood with the neighbour.

"How did he hear me?" Ziggy whispered. "Isn't he almost deaf in his old age?"

"That's a dollar!" Dave called.

"I didn't swear!" Ziggy called back.

"You called me old! Good enough for me!"

Liv pulled out her phone, smiling at the message from Emily telling her they'd be over later that evening. She also had texts from Jace, and one from Haley.

Jace:

Good morning from me and Zarabear! I spoke to her school and they're open to admissions when Ziggy is ready for school. I also spoke to dad and he's good with you going on extended leave until after Christmas, said he'd text again in a few days.

We're here when you're all ready to see us, no rush. Zara's really excited to introduce Ziggy to Legally Blonde, too, and he's been approved for girls night ahead of time.

Liv:

You guys are the best! I love and miss you both so much

I'll mention it to Ziggy and get back to you on girls night. Thank you for being so supportive through this x

Haley:

Jess and I are here when you need us, and we can't wait to meet Ziggy. Jack's excited to meet his new older cousin, and he's drawn so many pictures for you and Lilah. We love you x

Liv:

I love you, Jess, and Jack so much x

Liv put her phone away, running her hand through her hair before looking over at Ziggy and Delilah.

"I wonder if he's friendly with other dogs," Ziggy said, looking at the dog by the neighbour Dave was talking to.
