"Catch 22" - A noun meaning a dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions. In other words, you cannot complete one task until you complete another, but you cannot complete that task until you complete the first one.

Later that night at Bangtan's residence in the kitchen...

"Hey," Namjoon says, greeting his hyung and older companion when he comes home that night, realizing Seokjin had come home much later than he had. "You're home rather late, hyung, don't you think? Did you stay later at the embassy? I didn't see you at all there after school and Appa questioned me; pressing me about your location."

"No, I didn't go in today, Namjoon-ah," Seokjin answers, continuing to stir the bits of lobster he'd chopped.

See, young Seokjin was in an excellent mood this evening, which meant cooking his favorite meal, even if his younger companions strongly disliked seafood. Why? Because he'd gotten to spend his afternoon with you, of course. That was a no-brainer. Unfortunately, due to Seokjin's mostly cold, shy, and off-putting nature toward others, (excluding Bangtan here, of course), when he actually was in a genuinely good mood, (which most of the time unless he was doing one of his two favorite things with Namjoon and Taehyung was rare and didn't happen), it was painfully obvious that he had a good day today.

Namjoon sniffed the air, the pungent smell of lobster (which to him was utterly repulsive as he fondly disliked seafood), ever-present and...well, in his sophisticated opinion, way too strong. "Hyung, Lobster Thermidor? What in the world happened to you today? You've been very...smiley to yourself ever since I walked in here, and you only make Lobster Thermidor on special occasions. Did something occur today that I should know of?"

Seokjin rolled his eyes as a blush crept up on his cheeks when he thought about spending his afternoon with you. "Oh, hush, Namjoon-ah. I suppose it is...sort of a special occasion."

Namjoon crossed his arms. "Oh, yes? And what of that would it be?"

"Oh, nothing, I just..." Seokjin blushed again as he felt a searing heat rise to his cheeks. "I got a job in the science department this afternoon."

Namjoon gives his older companion a strange look. "You got a job...when you already have one...and that is what has you head over heels? Forgive me hyung, but I'm confused."

Seokjin sighed dreamily. "I suppose I should confess that it was kind of an excuse just to be with her, because I heard her telling our dear Jungkook-ah about the job, and I...couldn't help myself."
