The next afternoon...
-Namjoon-
"So, we're not going to discuss the events of the other night, are we? We'll...sweep it under the rug, like usual?"The ballpoint pen fell from Seokjin's fingers. "What's there to talk about? Y/n's behavior is deteriorating and she'll probably continue to be upset with us for a while until we see through the rest of our plan, but at least Yoongi isn't going to be an issue anymore."
"Are you sure this is the right thing to do? To even tell her and open that can of worms?" I now questioned, sorely unsure. Usually, I was undoubtedly certain about my choices, and I kept a cool, calm, and collected head, but right now, I just wasn't sure this was the right call. And I was the wise one of the group; the ringleader. But I guess if my hyung, the second ringleader found this to be the smart decision then... Oh, hell. This would never work! Even I can see that! Y/n's going to lose whatever little respect she's built up for us since we met, and possibly whatever trust is left by the time we go through with this, and everything will implode all over again.
"Jin-hyung, I really think we should reconsider, this isn't wise to just jump into things without a genuinely thought-through plan-"
"Namjoon-ah." Seokjin snapped, shaking his head. "Relax. It is thought-through. It's so thought-through, in fact, that Y/n will come to terms with her true feelings for us, and see just how much she loves us."
"Is it? Because I need you to tell me that you realize by doing this we are definitely going to send Y/n on a rampage. And this time...I don't know if we can earn her affection back. We got lucky the first time, but... Our luck might be running out. We both hate them together, but why do I have to be the bad guy here and split them up?!"
He shrugged. "I don't know, why am I the handsome one? We all have our thing. But no, no, see? This is why it'll work!" Seokjin then insists, "Because with him out of the picture, she'll have to accept us! Then, the three of us can finally be together the way we planned. We can be a family again! This is our one chance to start over; to finally become the family we always wished we had but never got. Besides, if you're so worried about it, then I'll just tell her."
"I know, I just-"
"I know what you're going to say, Joon-ah," he says, and when he refers to me by my nickname I can't help but sigh. He knew that calling me by my nickname would make me more likely to give in to his madness. "But I am confident—this will work."
