Bounded By A Deal

Not-So-Little Announcement!

Hi my lovely readers!

Okay. This is not a story update as the title entails. I just want to make some few announcements. Some of my announcements might not be relevant to you depending on when you read this. I may have made changes to the story already, rendering some of these announcements useless. 

First of all, I would like to thank you all for making it this far in this story, 'Bounded by a Deal'.

Now, to the announcement portion.                                                                                                                          1. I might change the name of the book. Yes! I might change the name of the book. As sad as it is for me, the name 'Bounded by a Deal' might have to go considering that it does not exactly portray or summarize the storyline of the book. The name of the book might be changed to 'Our Messed Up Lives' or 'We Are All Family' or something like that.                                                                                     This is because, in the story, an awful lot of twisted events happened. I know it seems like there isn't much story to it since Isabelle and Bryan have found out about their involvement in the arranged marriage, but trust me, there is a whole lot of drama.

             Not to bore you, but I would want to give you a little background on this story. I got the inspiration for this story on Tuesday, the 15th of March, 2022 - and no, I'm not making the date up. Anyway, I was in my bathroom daydreaming about life and its possibilities when I suddenly imagined a scenario or situation whereby a girl gets into an arranged marriage with a boy she already likes. The initial plot of the story was that they (Bryan and Isabelle) would like each other at first, hate each other at their secondary school graduation and then reunite at the time they were meant to get married and like each other again. I was still young, hence the childish plot. 

        Anyway, I started writing the story that day, naming it 'Bounded by a Deal'. So this story title has been with me for nearly two years (it would be extremely painful for me to let it go).

Unfortunately for me, I stopped writing the story that year because of lack of motivation, I was at chapter 16 then. Fortunately, I decided to restart the story with more wisdom, understanding, knowledge, experience and sense on Saturday, the 16th of December, 2023 with more twists and turns and a very wild imagination.

 Due to the minor plots that have been added to the story, I think 'Bounded by a Deal' might not be suitable as a title. 

Just for your information though, I have reached Chapter 37, on paper, so I've gone pretty far in the book. With the state of the book now, a lot of things are happening and about to happen. Like I said earlier, this book is not about just Isabelle and Bryan but their friends and family. Due to all these things, I might change the book name, let's just see how the thing goes.

Second announcement! Yes, I used over 450 words to announce one thing. Anyway, the second announcement is more of a warning.

Nothing bad happened, no need to panic.

It's just that I want to warn you all that this story is very complicated. The complications are very twisted and might be unnecessary and perhaps unreasonable. 

Just a little spoiler, everybody in the story is related one way or the other. I'll leave you to ponder on that.

I just wanted to make it clear to you that this story is far from normal and ordinary, it is twisted like a web. Kudos to everyone who will still read the story after this part.

Now, back to the issue of the story title/name. (*sigh*) Oh well, when I finish the book on paper, I would then decide what the name should be. I would also ask for your opinion, so please when that time comes, tell me what you think.

Now, about the school in the story. The name of the school is Brendford Academy which would be mentioned later in the story. Our main characters are in SS1. Now, in Brendford, ss1 students study both Art and Science subjects. This SS1 set comprises of 42 students separated into two classrooms, A and B. They merge at SS1b for revisions during examinations. 

I know earlier I said that their school uniform consists of a red suit, a black shirt, red skirt/trouser black socks and red shoes but I have thought about it and I think that adding red shoes as part of their uniform is stupid. Their uniform is a cropped red suit (Yes, cropped. It's not real-life so it shouldn't matter much), with a black shirt and a pleated skirt or straight trousers with black socks and black shoes as well as a red ribbon bow brooch or criss-cross tie for girls and red male ties for boys. It give Korean vibes... Squeeeeeeeeeee!
