From the moment she was born Nailea knew she was special. She was the daughter of the Olo'eyktan, and not just any Olo'eyktan, but Toruk Makto. It was almost unheard of amongst the navi for a mother to be blessed with two children at the same time, so when Neteyam and Nailea were born it was considered a miracle. A gift from Eywa. Neteyam was born first, the clan was ecstatic to have a future leader in their midst and not long after, Nailea made her first grand entrance.
The people were more than happy, an Olo'eyktan and Tsahik all in one go? What could be better? At least that's what they thought, but pretty early on it became clear that Nailea had no intention in becoming Tsahik. In fact she really had no interest in becoming anything at all. Nailea was a beautiful girl, that much was clear, she loved to dance and look at herself in any reflection she could gaze into, but she really did nothing else.
For as long as Nailea could remember she wished she would wake up one day and have a smaller body, an extra finger, and a pinkish skin tone. She had always wanted to be human. Nailea was fascinated by anything that came from Earth, she enjoyed spending time with the scientists that inhabited Pandora. She liked learning about things such as makeup, perfume, and technology from the women, but there was one person whom she enjoyed the most.
Jose Socorro. It was safe to say the two had a thing. They had met when they were younger since Jose's little brother, Spider, was always hanging around the Sully's. Jose had always had a small crush on Nailea and those feelings only increased when Jose got his very own avatar. But let's just say that those feelings were mostly one sided.
Nailea had always been gorgeous, even more so when she grew up. She was sought after by many young warriors in her clan, even men from other clans had shown interest, but Nailea usually only used them for her own pleasure and then booted them. Jose was different to her. She liked to keep him around because he was the only one who could provide her with more information about the human world. Besides, he wasn't bad looking either.
Care was something Nailea lacked. She didn't really care for anything or anyone other than herself. Obviously she loved and cared for her family, but not much for anything else. Anytime her parents would stress to her about finding her place amongst the clan she pretty much just ignored them. It was a miracle that Nailea had even tamed an ikran and honestly she hadn't even done it all herself. She had convinced two strong warriors to hold the beast down for her while she made the bond, sure it was the unconventional way to do it but at least she did it.
Nailea was a daddy's girl to say the least, she could do no wrong in Jake's eyes. She was his perfect little girl, no matter how old she got. Then of course she was also a brothers girl. Her twin and her built in best friend Neteyam was always there to love and care for his sister. Nailea was loved by two very strong beings. They accepted her for who she was and the things she liked.
Her mother on the other hand didn't really appreciate Nailea's love for human cultures. She wished her daughter would embrace being navi, but most of all she wished she didn't spend so much time with the humans. Nailea and her siblings, Lo'ak and Kiri, were always hanging out at the lab talking with the scientists and learning things about earth. Neytiri didn't get why but she assumed they just wanted to learn more about what their fathers life used to be like.
Nailea was happy and accustomed to her life. She was carefree, spoiled for the most part, and everything always went her way. What more could she want? The girl was used to getting whatever and who ever she wanted. But soon, she'd meet someone who wouldn't be so easily moved.
