NAILEA LISTENED HAPPILY as Tonowari announced that she and her family would be staying with the Metkayina. Now she really had a shot with the tall teal boy. She wished she knew what his name was, luckily for her, she wouldn't have to wait much longer.
"My son Aonung and my daughter Tsireya will teach your children what to do." Tonowari said signaling over to Lo'ak and Nailea's new found crushes. Huh. So they were both the Olo'eyktans kids. Lo'ak and Nailea immediately looked at each other and smirked knowing that they'd be having fun with these circumstances. Neteyam gave them Botha look before shaking his head, already knowing what they were thinking.
"Father why must I-" The tall boy tried to intervene but his father didn't allow it.
"It's been decided." Tonowari said sternly.
Aonung. His name was Aonung. It suited him, Nailea thought that his name was just as attractive as he was.
"Come, I will show you your new home." Tsireya smiled at the Sully family as she picked up a box they had.
Soon enough the Sullys were following Tsireya to their new pod, everyone carrying a box, bag, or anything else they brought with them. But Nailea, of course, didn't carry one thing. Nailea noticed that Aonung, his friend Rotxo, and the same shy girl were following behind them also carrying some stuff. She saw how Aonung walked back with the shy girl and that they were talking and smiling at each other. Weird, she thought. Why would someone like Aonung talk to a girl like that? She wasn't exactly that pretty.
When the Sullys arrived to the mauri pod, Nailea looked around displeased. She immediately walked over to her dad with an unhappy look on her face.
"Dad! We're staying here?" She asked completely appalled.
"Yes it's nice isn't it?" Jake said to his daughter.
"Um no, do you see how small it is? Where am I supposed to put all of my stuff?" Nailea complained.
"That's why we told you not to bring so many things skxwang." Lo'ak laughed at his sisters complaining. Nailea rolled her eyes at him before turning her attention back to Jake.
"I can't stay here Dad. Cant you ask for a bigger pod?"
"Look babygirl, I know this is new, but it'll be an adjustment for all of us. I promise we'll find a place for all your things don't worry." Jake said in a reassuring way. Nailea simply groaned and walked away from her father. Aonung and Rotxo placed the boxes that carried Nailea's things down, Nailea couldn't help but notice the way Aonung's muscles flexed as he carried the heavy boxes. While she admired him, she felt a tap on her shoulder, she turned to see Tsireya and she smiled at her.
"Hello, I was hoping I could get your name." Tsireya asked the forest girl.
"Hey, my names Nailea, you're Tsireya right?"
"Yes that's me!" Nailea smiled before turning her attention to Aonung.
"That's your brother?"
"Mhm" Tsireya nodded "His name is Aonung"
"Does he have a girlfriend?" Nailea teased making Tsireya laugh. It's not like it would matter if he did or didn't, if Nailea liked something, she got it. She didn't let anything or anyone stand in her way.
