THE SMALL WAVES CRASHED SOFLTY against the rock that was a bit off from shore. Once the ilu arrived to the rock Aonung got off first and he looked to Nailea waiting for her to do the same, but to no one's surprise Nailea didn't move a muscle.
"Come on get off" Aonung told her.
"Um no?" Nailea sassed "I could fall" Aonung again rolled his eyes and he had to fight every urge in his body to not jump back in the ocean and leave her stranded. Instead Aonung reached his hand out to her and helped her off the ilu. "Thank you" Nailea batted her eye lashes with a smile, to which Aonung just grimaced.
"Okay let's start with the lessons." The two navi took a seat and Nailea only somewhat listened to what Aonung said, she didn't really pay attention til he placed one hand on her abdomen and the other on her heart. Nailea's breath hitched as she saw how close her and Aonung were, his touch felt electric and Nailea felt the urge to just pull him in for a kiss. "Your heart beat is fast." Aonung spoke softly.
"Thanks" Nailea smiled and replied with the same amount of volume Aonung had.
"That's not a good thing."
"Oh"
"Try to focus" He begin to breath in a certain way and Nailea followed it, after a few minutes she was able to calm her heart and her mind. "Good job forest girl." Aonung said as he looked into her eyes, not moving his hands from where he had them. The moment Aonung looked into the girls eyes, some thing glitched. Suddenly she became prettier and more bearable? Weird. Nailea smirked and shifted her body to be closer to his which snapped him out of his trance. "Uh let's go back to the village." Aonung quickly stood up and called for the ilu, he got on and then helped Nailea before they made their way back over to the village.
"So what are you teaching me tomorrow?" Nailea asked Aonung giving him a charming look as they walked along the shore.
"How to fish" Aonung said looking down at the girl.
"Oh...I don't think so."
"What you don't like the smell?" He teased her.
"Well yeah, but also, I don't eat fish or any meat." Her words shocked Aonung and he completely stopped walking, looking at her like she had a second head.
"Your people really are freaks." Aonung shook his head, making Nailea roll her eyes.
"Forest people eat meat I just personally don't." Nailea told him as she began walking again, Aonung quickly following behind her.
"Why?"
"Cuz it's inhumane. It's not fair that we get to take the life of an innocent animal just because we're hungry."
"Forest girl, Eywa put the animals in the world for us to eat!" Aonung continued trying to reason with her.
"You know what else she put in the world? Fruits and vegetables."
"So you just eat fruits and vegetables?" He asked her in disbelief.
"Yes, it's how I stay so beautiful." Nailea rolled her eyes with a smile. Aonung simply shook his head as they continued their walk.
