NAILEA GROANED AND COVERED her ears with her hands as her siblings tried to wake her up. They had been at it for about ten minutes, to no avail. Nailea just wouldn't budge, it was wayyy to early for her to wake up.
"Nai!" Tuk whined as she shook her sister back and forth.
"Bro come on, Dad said we'll be grounded if we're late!" Lo'ak insisted.
Today, the Metkayina kids would be teaching the Sullys how to swim while Neytiri and Jake met with Ronal and Tonowari to learn the ways of the village. The parents had already left but they gave the twins, mostly Neteyam, the job of getting the rest of their siblings to their lesson on time.
"Go away!" Nailea groaned and swatted them away with her hand. Kiri rolled her eyes at her sisters behavior, she could be such a diva sometimes. Neteyam walked into the hut after going to pick some fruit for the family and saw that his sister was yet to wake up. He shook his head and walked towards her, making Lo'ak and Tuk walk away from them.
"Nai" Neteyam spoke softly as he placed a gentle hand on Nailea's shoulder. "You have to get up we have our swimming lessons today."
"I already know how to swim" Nailea mumbled, annoyed that she couldn't just sleep in.
"No you can't" Neteyam chuckled at Nailea's words knowing them to be completely false. When they were younger, their father had taught them how to swim, but Nailea missed out on the lessons since she preferred to pick flowers. The only time Nailea ever got wet was when she washed her hair with her fancy human shampoo that the scientists had gifted her. "Nai come on, if we're going to live here we have to learn their ways."
Nailea decided to just ignore her brother and close her eyes, she found that if she just pretended they weren't there, her siblings would usually leave on their own. Neteyam sighed and walked away from her.
"Let's go" Neteyam said to the rest of his siblings.
"What about Nai?" Tuk pouted. Neteyam smiled down at the young girl and picked her up, placing her on his hip.
"Don't worry about her, you ready to swim with the fishes?" Neteyam joked with his sister making her giggle. Lo'ak and Kiri rolled their eyes as they walked out of the hut, they thought it was unfair that they had to go but Nailea didn't.
Peace at last Nailea thought as she heard her siblings leaving. She smiled to herself and snuggled back into her warm woven mat. She could sleep like a baby now.

The Metkayina kids watched as the Sully siblings arrived to the area where they would be teaching them to swim. Koa was not with them today, making Aonung be in a bitchier mood than usual. As the Sullys came closer, Tsireya immediately noticed that Nailea was not with them.
"Wasn't there another one?" Rotxo asked as he stood next to Tsireya.
"Good for us that's one less freak we have to teach." Aonung chuckled making Tsireya glare at him.
"Aonung!" Tsireya scolded hoping that none of the Sullys heard as they got closer.
"Kaltxi" Neteyam greeted with a smile as the others followed his lead.
