~3rd Person POV~

"...What?" Percy asked, hoping Nico did not say what he thought he said. "They can't be dead..." Percy whispered to himself.

"We're... dead?" Braydon asked, while Lyre stared in shock and David cocked his head, wondering what they were talking about.

'Stupid curse.' David thought.

"But... I didn't die. I don't think I did, anyway." Braydon said.

'Maybe they fell in River Lethe.' Percy thought, then shook his head. 'No, that's stupid. Why would they be in Tartarus?'

"Do you know how they... died?" Percy asked Nico.

Nico shook his head. "I can only tell if they're dead or have died."

"Have died? Does that mean they came back?"

Nico nodded. "Yes."

Braydon sighed and threw his hands up. "Well, that's nice. We're zombies."

"Do you think the person who cursed you brought you back?" Percy asked, turning to Braydon and Lyre.

Lyre and Braydon nodded slowly, realizing that theory made the most sense.

"Shouldn't we tell the camp so they don't think you're crazy anymore?" Nico asked.

For some reason, that sentence made Percy worried and nervous. And for some reason, he did not want the camp to know.

"...No." Percy said quietly, almost inaudible.

"What?" Nico asked, not believing he heard Percy correctly.

"I said no." Percy repeated firmly, turning around to face the smaller boy.

"What? Why?" Nico asked, confused why Percy was suddenly acting like this.

"People will think I'm special because I can see them." Percy explained. "But I'm not special."

'It's funny how wrong you are.' A scratchy voice said. It was almost so scratchy, it sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

Percy jumped and looked around with a nervous and confused look in his eyes.

"What, Percy?" Nico asked.

Percy shook his head and tried to calm himself down by repeating 'There's no way she can be here.' over and over in his head.

'Oh, there's a way.' She replied, cackling like an evil witch with bronchitis.

"I, uh... I have to go." Percy said, rushing out of the infirmary to his cabin.

"What was that all about...?" Nico muttered.

"I don't know." Braydon responded. Half of him hoped the curse would allow Nico to heard him, but the other half knew better.

The other half was right.

'Nononono... She can't be here.' Percy thought, mentally shaking his head.

Little did he know, he actually said that out loud and he was shaking his head.

The campers he past as he walked to his cabin saw and heard him.

'Oh no... He's finally losing it.' They thought.

When Percy arrived at his cabin, he looked around to see if anyone was near, then locked the doors.

"Alright, what do you want?" Percy whispered to the voice, trying to sound confident.

'I believe the question is, what do you want?' It answered.

"Are you seriously going to play this game?"

'Fine!' The voice hissed and somehow, Percy knew she threw her hands up in defeat. 'I want to make you a deal.'

Despite Percy knowing who the voice was, he couldn't help but be a little interested in this 'deal'. I mean, come on! When someone says, 'I want to make you a deal', wouldn't you want to know what the deal was?

"Okay. What's the deal?" Percy asked, curious.

'I can help you find a cure for the cursed trio you met. In return, I would like you to be my...' The voice faltered.

"Be your what?" He asked, now worried what the consequence was.

'I would like you to be my friend.' It said. 'I don't have any friends and I get a little lonely.'

Percy had to admit, he did feel bad
for the voice. "This would all be for a cure for their curses, right?"

'Yes. And I could help you control your power over poison.' It added.

Percy thought about this deal. If he said yes, he could get Lyre, Braydon, and David their voice, sight, and hearing again! And people would be able to see them!

And, he would get to pratice some of his powers over poison. If he mastered it, it could come in handy.

If he didn't accept, Lyre, Braydon, and David would never get to talk, see, or hear again.

'Have you decided?' She asked.

"Yes." Percy answered.

'What is your answer?'

"My answer is yes. I will accept the deal."

'Good.' She said, giving Percy the impression that she was trying to smile. 'I will help you train in your dreams, so you do not have to worry about those horrible demigods dreams.'

"Wow, um, thanks." Percy said intelligently.

'Yes, well, you might want to prepare an excuse.'

"What? An excuse for what?" Percy asked.

'An excuse for who you were talking to. They are probably going to ask you.'

"They?"

'Lyre, Braydon, and David. They are about to knock on your door.'

"Oh schist." Percy muttered, hearing the knocking.

"Percy? Who are you talking to?" Braydon asked from the outside.

'Totally not the goddess of misery, Akhlys.' Percy thought.

"Oh, um... just an Iris Message. Talking to my mom." He lied smoothly.

"Oh. Can you let us in?" Braydon asked.

"Yeah just a second." Percy said, pretending to talk to his mother. "Yes, I know. Okay, bye mom!"

Then, he walked over to his door and unlocked it so the trio could come in. When they did, Percy did not like the serious looks on their faces.

"Percy, what are the consequences of the deal? We heard the whole thing." Braydon said.

(A/N: Sorry for the long wait! I'm on a family vacation/road trip with my parents and my 2 cousins. I don't have a lot of internet so... yeah. And also, the cabin we're staying in is cabin 3! The picture attached is the picture of our cabin. (If you look closely, there's a little fish that has "#3" on it!) Posideon cabin FTW!)
