I just got back from Camp and sat in my dorm, unpacking my back. Jackson was sitting on Lilly's bed, who was in one of her lectures, and spent the last hour, asking me questions about camp and all the girls. "So Preath is actually a thing?" I nodded and he squealed like a girl. "I bet Mom and Ma loved this." I smiled and nodded. "You know, Mom was right when she said the internet would go nuts once your name is on the USWNT list. The amount of fan-accounts that declared you as their unofficial child is insane." We both laughed, knowing exactly what posts he was talking about. Fans could be extremely weird but without them in the stands soccer wouldn't be the same so I'll look past it. "And they don't even know that I have to mothers and am queer myself." I said and Jackson eyes widened in excitement. "Uhh, I can't wait. There will be at least ten good memes about it. Maybe I will even create on myself." He said, already deep in his thoughts. I slapped his foot from my position on the floor. "Don't you dare, or else." I threatened but he just grinned right back at me.
"Enough about me, how where things back here?" I asked, hoping to change the topic. He thought for a moment. "Good. Training was great and Macy and I even had time for a few dates because the gym was closed for a week." I looked at him confused. "Why was the gym closed?"
"The roof had a leak and it took nearly a week until they fixed it. But no one minded the brake." He explained. "Although, maybe Evie did." He added and I froze at the mention of the one person I tried getting out of my head for the past two weeks.
"Macy actually mentioned that she is struggling quiet a bit right now. You two are friend right? Maybe you know whats up with her." My heart hurt as he mentioned Evie's wellbeing and I knew that it was probably my fault. I decided then and there that I wanted to speak with her as soon as possible. Last time we talked was disastrous and I think we both said things in the heat of the moment. Or at least I know now, that I said things I didn't mean like that and I hoped she did too. But firstly I wanted to know how much she struggled right now and help her.
"Did Macy mention anything else?" I tried to get more information out of my brother. "She did, but I don't know if she would be okay with me telling you this." I send him a desperate look. "Please Jackson, I want to help Evie and therefor I need to know. He wrestled with himself for a while before giving in.
"But you promise me that you won't mention it to Macy and only use this information to help Evie." He assured himself and I agreed. "Well, Macy thinks she developed an OCD and I think so too. She struggles a lot if her routines are broken or things are different from her normal. Macy also mentioned that she is having an extreme ED episode right now and that she struggles with anxiety and panic attacks nearly every day. It's really bad, Grace. She called Macy a few time while we where together and it was horrible how she gasped for air and pleaded Macy to help her. It's really concerning and I think, since the gym is back open and she can train again, Macy is not far away from dragging her into the next hospital."
I felt tears wellig in my eyes as Jackson explained the extent of Evie's struggles and I approved Macy's plan of bringing Evelyn to the next hospital if her behaviour doesn't change drastically in the next days. "Can you call Macy? I want to talk to her." Jason nodded and handed me his phone after we agreed that it was important to help Evie and therefor Macy had to know that Jackson told me.
"Hey babe, what's up." Answered Macy.
"Hey, it's actually Grace." I replied.
"Oh, hey Grace, how was Camp."
"It was good but that's not why I am calling." I explained, wanting to get to the important topic straight away.
"Okay, why are you calling then?" She asked, confused.
