The package

Izuku's reach log 4: New Alexandria fell to the covenant glassing attack... at least most the civilians got out... saved Kat from death as well...

August 29, 2552

Izuku is standing atop a small hill as he hears carter and holland talking over coms. Izuku slid down the side of the hill and landed infront of 3 ODSTs and Kat. Hearing carter give the green light he made a hand signal to have the ODSTs move up along with kat. Carter then began his briefing.

Carter: "covenant own this sector now. They are defending for a full major strike, not a small-group infiltration. Eliminate all hostile ground air-defense so the rest of Noble can land at Sword Base for the torch-and-burn. Keep a low profile - we'll take them by surprise, this will be a hell lot easier."

ODST 1: "we'll follow you spartans" izuku nodded at this and moved forward carefully.

Before long the team of 5 arrived at a flooded farragut station and could see a small covenant outpost consisting of a watchtower, a few ghosts, shade turrets and a group of infantry. While approaching the outpost the team comes across a downed falcon.

ODST 1: "falcon down, watch for bodies"

Izuku: "peace to the fallen."

The team all nodded and proceeded onwards and soon reached the outpost. Looking at the outpots he instructed the 3 ODSTs to flank the shade and take it out while he and kat draw their fire. Doing just that the team soon eliminated the covenant troops and moved onwards.

ODST 2: "structure is clear, lieutenant"

Emile: "kat's right. Does seem like over-kill... sending us back here for a simple demo-op?"

Jun: "ONI thinks it's worth it. Ought to tell you something" this is when izuku spoke up

Izuku: "having worked with ONI for a long time I'm guessing the demo-op is just a cover up"

Kat: "whatever it is we've got to keep moving... scorpion up ahead izuku."

Izuku moved up to the scorpion and could hear emile ask jun when Kat started to call izuku by his name and not six. Ignoring them izuku got into the scorpion's driver's seat and looked down at the 6 pedals.

Izuku: "why the hell are there 6 pedals but only 4 directions!"

Kat and the ODSTs looked at izuku weirdly but thought nothing of it and got onto the tank with Kat getting in the gunner's seat and the ODSTs sitting on the track armour. Driving forward in the scorpion the team used the scorpion's superior range to destroy ghosts and watch towers with the main gun while kat filled any infantry that got too close with the machine gun as they pushed towards airview base.

ODST 2: "Area secure."

Carter: "Get a move on, Noble Six. Our Falcons are standing by."

Coming up on the base izuku started firing the scorpion's 90mm gun at the upper part of the AA guns while falcons dog fighted with banshees as well as avoiding fire from the AA guns. After a while the two AA guns were destroyed and izuku started pushing through the old Airview base eliminating anything that got in their way. Pushing onwards to sword base, multiple falcons flew over the team towards sword base as izuku began firing at the stationary defences of the covenant defending sword base.

Carter: "Noble Team: Falcon group has landed, hostiles engaged. Jun is working on getting the gate open."

Jun: "really wish kat was on this side right now"
