Moon and Solar ate their dinner in a comfortable silence before Solar began to speak up.
"The sunset should be in 20 to 30 minutes." Solar mentioned.
Moons eyes flickered with excitement. Moon loved sunsets, it was something not many people knew about him. Moon adjusted and got more comfortable. He hadn't realized the rather suggestive pose he was in until he looked over to Solar who was dusted in a light red blush.
"Oh, sorry." Moon apologized. He moved into a cross legged position on the blanket.
"No, no, it's fine." Solar countered.
The two of them just sat there awkwardly. The silence grew until Moon could hear crickets in the forest and birds flying around.
"Look.." was the only thing muttered from Solar's mouth before it became quiet again.
Solar's eyes were looking into the horizon. Moon's eyes panned over to see a sunset with blues purples and oranges. He was stuck with awe as he watched the sun slowly dissipate into the mountains, painting the sky in reds and purples.
"Thank you..." Moon uddered "for taking me here, this was amazing."
"Yeah.." Solar's eyes were still caught in the sunsets hues.
"Is there anything else you wanted to show me?" Moon asked grabbing some things and putting it away.
"Uhm, not really." Solar finally looked over and started to help put things away.
"Okay in that case I'm going to finish with this and go home. I need a nap." Moon mentioned, making the other laugh.
"Good idea." Solar laughed.
Once they had gotten everything away and began heading for the car Solar stopped. He got down and picked up a dark colored rock dusted with dirt.
"What's that?" Moon asked.
Solar shrugged "I don't know it caught my eye."
The two continued walking down to the car eventually getting the two home.
"Thank you, for everything." Moon thanked.
"Don't sweat it." Solar assured.
"I'll see you tomorrow." Moon said before walking inside and flopping on his bed.
Moon sat there with his thoughts for a moment. What... What was that. How does this happen? Do I like him? Moon's thoughts paused for a moment. Fuck, do I?
Moon laid down on his bed. Trying to get some much needed sleep. He hadn't gotten much sleep due to stress. Right now at this moment he just stared at the ceiling, and thought about the events just hours before.
