I don't even want to be here tonight, but my friend dragged me out. I get her and her boyfriend just had a breakup, but isn't there a better way to solve problems then just drinking yourself to oblivion? "Come on, let's go get a few shots in us," Layken says as she drags me. I've never really been in a club. I mean, why would I? I have no reason to go out clubbing. Layken is beautiful. She has auburn hair that falls just a little above her waist. Her blue eyes are a little darker than mine, and she has a nose piercing. She has freckles all over her face, but to me it makes her so much more beautiful. Layken is really outgoing and definitely knows how to entertain anyone. She's a little bit taller than me, and it shows. Layken isn't one of those girls that is really tan. In fact, she's really pale, and it doesn't really bother her. "Shaleigh don't look now, but there's a guy a table in front of us staring at you." She says smirking. I look over and see a guy at the bar; longish black hair that comes just above his eyes, blue eyes, and a smile that could make you drop dead. I just hope he doesn't catch me staring.
"Shaleigh," Layken yells.
"Sorry I was just..." Before I could finish she interrupts me.
"Staring?" She asks.
"No, you know I have a boyfriend, and I love him." I say unsure.
"Just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you can't look at the menu as long as you come home hungry." We both laugh. She couldn't be more right, but I am fully committed to Julian. I've been with him two years, and everything has been good. He's everything I want.

While Layken is ordering our drinks, I can't help but stare at the guy a table in front of us. He's gorgeous, and I feel wrong for admitting it. He probably has a girlfriend though. Why wouldn't he? As I study him harder, I realize he has the body of a god: sleeve tattoos and a lip ring. I wonder where else he has tattoos and piercings. I need to stop this. I've never cheated and I'm not going to start now.
"Shaleigh stop drooling. I'm not covering for you if he gets up and comes over here, or catches you."
I feel slightly embarrassed she noticed I was staring.
"I was not drooling." I state.
"You were. Go over there and start a conversation. I won't tell." I know she wouldn't, but I could never do something like that to Julian.
"No, you know I have a boyfriend!" I exclaim.
"Well he's coming over here." I look over, and he's standing right in front of me.
"Hi, I'm Ryder." Holy shit, even his name is hot. I'd like to ride him.
"Hi, I...I'm Shaleigh." I stutter.
"Well Shaleigh, nice to meet you." Okay, how can he manage to make my name sound so hot?
"Nice to meet you as well." Did I really just say the most obvious thing I could think of?
"Why don't you and your friend come join me and my friend for drinks?" As much as I want to say yes, I know I shouldn't. If Julian found out, he would start something with me, and I don't feel like dealing with him.
"We would love to," Layken says before I can answer. I shoot her an evil look, but I'm not sure she caught it.
