I don't talk to Joon much the rest of the week as they have a busy schedule, even though they just got back from the tour. Since I was moving, I have the rest of the week off and start in the office on Monday. By the time the guys arrive on Friday, I have gotten completely unpacked and except for a small list of things, we are completely settled in. Joonbug and I spend the afternoon on snacks for the game night.
We made Chex mix and our famous homemade sugar cookies, which she decorated on her own. They look like a trainwreck, but they will taste good. I also made wings, pizza rolls, popcorn, and two different kinds of dip. The last thing out of the oven is brownies. There are plenty of drinks and stuff for ice cream sundaes as well. We set everything up on the island like a buffet and have just finished when the buzzer sounds. I head over and open the door to the guys. They all filter in, giving me quick hugs before heading straight for Joonbug. Joon is the last one in. He closes the door and pulls me into his arms.
"Mmm, I have missed you."
"Same," I tell him, breathing him in.
He drops his arms and pulls me to my bedroom, dropping a bag on the bed.
"I brought a few things to leave here, maybe in case I ended up staying some." He says, only slightly hesitating.
Reaching into my pocket, I pull out a key on a Koya keychain and hold it up in the air.
"I had this made for you so you can be at home here whenever." I place the key in his hand.
I am rewarded with a huge grin and a kiss. We head back out, and I see Joonbug dealing out UNO cards. Two hours later, we had been through one movie and played UNO several times. Hobi won once, and Joonbug won the other two times. I look over at her and see her yawning and rubbing her eyes. Joon sees it, too, and picks her up into his lap. She leans back and rests her head against his chest, closing her eyes.
"So she liked her room?" Jimin asks.
"Are you kidding? She loves it."
"Good, we wanted to get more, but we were worried about space," Jin says.
"Good, you didn't. She is bursting at the seams right now. And with Christmas in a couple of weeks, I'm terrified of what you will do after everything she got for her birthday." I say in mock horror.
The guys help me clean up, and then they leave. I take Joonbug, get her in her pjs, and put her to bed before joining Joon on the couch.
"Why don't we go tomorrow afternoon and get you guys a Christmas tree and stuff?" Joon asks as he rubs my feet.
"Really? That's not a bad idea. I know she will want one. The little bit of Christmas decorations I kept are in a box in the bottom of my closet."
"Yeah, we can come back and decorate and maybe watch a Christmas movie."
"Mmm. I will agree to almost anything as long as you keep rubbing my feet." I say, closing my eyes.
The next day after breakfast, I get Joonbug bundled up, and she and Joon go out for a while. While they are gone, I pull out our Christmas decorations and sort them to see what we might need. Getting online, I buy a few things to pick up when we go to get the tree. I have never been a fan of real trees, and I'm not sure where I would even get one here, so I look around for the best place to buy an artificial one.
After that, I go and straighten my bug's room and do some clothes. Clearing out a drawer in the bathroom for Joon, I also clear out some space in my closet. I have just sat down to relax when they come in.
"Mommy, mommy, is it true? Joon said we are going to get a tree and decorate."
"Yep, just waiting for you two." I tell her.
