As per usual, Hunter sneaked into your room through the window. This is something that usually happened, and as usual he did not disappoint.
It's quite dark, but you welcome him with a hug, and he slowly hugs back with a blush. Though you notice he's quieter than he usually is. He usually greets you but right now he isn't talking like he normally would. Something is wrong, he usually gets this quiet when he's upset or just really tired.
You turn on the light, he protests but you do so anyway and you notice his eye bags are darker than usual, so being the concerned girlfriend you are you cross your arms at him and "I know, I know." he puts his hands up in surrender, "I'm sorry. Today was busy and .. I just really wanted to get done all that I needed to today. Don't want two bad days in a row, yknow?" he says, and you sigh, sitting down. "But you look so tired..." you say with a worried sigh, "Maybe you should lie down.. use me as a pillow" you say with a smile, still worried about him.
His face ends up quite red at your statement, reaching to his ears. "You- but- I mean I-" "I don't mind! You need some tender love and care from me!" you say with a smile, "Now c'mon before I make you!"
He sighs and obliges, laying his head on your lap as you stroke his hair soothingly and he's quick to fall asleep.
