He was rather quiet as the two of you snuggled, wasn't completely unusual for him. He was either very quiet or very talkative, usually rambling about things he was interested in. Today was quiet though, and to be fair so were you. These past couple days had been rough for the both of you, you had to make a decision. To stay with Hunter or go back home. It wasn't an easy choice, Luz didn't really have a choice, but you... you had to make one yourself. And it was the hardest decision you've ever been faced with. This time of the year was usually fun for you, but being met with these choices had proven to be difficult.
For now the both of you ignored the world, he ignored how deep down he knew he wasn't good enough and you'd leave him. The one good thing in his life would leave just like that, because he just wasn't enough for you. And you ignored the guilt in your heart of having to think about the decision you were going to make. In that moment, you just held eachother. He always made a certain face when he was thinking about something.. not so pleasant.
You stay there for awhile, unsure on how to deal with it. Maybe he just needed a good distraction.
You eventually decided to give him kisses all over his face. His nose, cheeks, forehead, ears, anything you could see. He was as red as a tomato. "W-what is this all about!!" he says, sounding angry. He's just embarrassed though.
