Hunter left you for one second! Just one. He usually never leaves you alone at the night market since it's pretty dangerous, but it was really important to his future mission with Luz and the others. Who, speaking of which, was currently defending you from the jerk that made you cry.
Hunter was of course, not one for hugs. However, he's quick to hug you and wipe your tears away. "Hey, it's okay. What happened?"
You sniffle, thinking about how gross you probably look right now. You tearfully tell him what happened and he's quick to give you a hug. He'd be giving the person quite the earful if it weren't for Luz currently doing that.
"I'm sorry" he says, sighing. "I wish I hadn't left you like that, I'm sorry. I should've been there." He says, and you hug back. "It's okay."
Despite his soft voice and gentle touch, there is an angry fire in his eyes and a scowl. He will show that person what for later.
