It's been 3 months since the attack on Basilisks headquarters, The President formally restored AEGIS to its former status and Elizabeth was appointed Director of the Agency and she was very much committed to rebuilding the agency and making sure Basilisk never infiltrated it ever again.
Zoe is still at large same with Baron Von Klaus II, their out there plotting their revenge and there's countless basilisk bases out in the wild with thousands of followers. Caroline was able to repair the rift between her and Susan following the discovery of Caroline and Amelia dating, and Caroline has since moved on from the girl she thought she knew who had killed her sister, Caroline would find herself starting a new relationship with Albert.
2 weeks after the AEGIS reopening, "Ok Elizabeth we're outside the lab, on your call we breach the building" Caroline said into her comms conjuring a flaming sword. Elizabeth on another side of the facility gave the order and 25 heavily armed and equipped soldiers kicked in the door and began securing countless basilisk scientists, Elizabeth proceeded to ask them questions about what they were doing and where Zoe Carter was, meanwhile on the other side of the facility Caroline and alberts team had breached the building securing more scientists that was until they saw Zoe activate a portal and turning to face them as she was about to enter "too slow Caroline", Caroline in a fit of rage ran into the portal to alberts shouts against the idea.
After what felt like second's Caroline found herself on the other side of the portal in an identical lab bug this one was run down and abandoned, the only person being a girl with brown hair aiming a rifle at her "Who are you?" The girl said.
