Harley POV

Luca and I got home from our morning surf at around eight. We put our boards away in the garage and went our separate ways, Luca rushing upstairs to shower before leaving for school.

I took my phone off of dnd to text Brie. Making sure she got to work okay, usually she surfs with us but she had to go in early today. But what I wasn't expecting was thousands of notifications
from across all of my socials and a text from my manager telling me to come into the office at 10. I went onto twitter only to see me and Jenna's name trending.

"Shit."

"Dude you're trending on twitter!" Luca yelled jumping down the stairs two at a time.

"Yea, I know, I have a meeting with Jessie at ten." I sighed putting my face in my hands.

"Hey, it could be worse. At least they actually have a video of the interaction, cause let me tell you some of these articles are making it sound like ya'll were throwing punches in the middle of Coachel-."

I cut off his rambling, "Okay, thank you Luca. You're gonna be late for school."

He groaned grabbing his keys from the bowl and heading towards the door. "Okay okay, but text me what happens after the meeting, oh and I think I'm gonna go to Randy's after school."

"Alright, love you."

"Love you too," he said walking out the door.

I ran upstairs to take a quick shower before throwing on some sweats, and heading for the door.

I had about thirty minutes to spare, so I ran into the Starbucks across the street grabbing me and Jessie's coffee order.

I walked into the building right on time heading towards Jessie's office. I knocked twice softly on the door before letting myself in.

"Jessie I am so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happe-" I immediately stopped talking once I saw who was in the room with her.

Staring directly at me we was who I assumed to be Jenna's manager. Jenna being seated next to him but working her absolute hardest to look anywhere but at me.

"Ly, you can have a seat."

"Um yea, here I got you your coffee." I turned my attention toward the other two in the room. "Sorry, I would have got y'all something but well I didn't know and." I began to ramble.

"Harley."

"Right, sorry."

"Listen we don't know what exactly happened, but whatever it was it's sure drawing attention and as stupid as this may sound all publicity is good publicity in this industry." Jenna's manager began.

"So, we wanted to offer the two of you a deal." Jessie began. For the first time since I walked through the door Jenna looked at me.

And from that look I could tell she had an idea of what was coming.

Jessie pulled out a contract from her desk. We want to offer the two of you a publicity stunt.
Simultaneously, Jenna and I let out a groan.

"It's not that big a deal, just for a little while a few dates, a few public appearances, and a little pda. Once your relationship has blown up enough we'll cut it with a public breakup."

"It's 100% the two of y'all's call but we really believe it to be in your best interest."

"Can we talk it over privately?" I asked directing my question more towards Jenna. She nodded her head and stood, walking past me into the hall.

I stepped out after her. "I think we should do it," she said.

I sighed "me too."

She looked at me like she'd rather be talking to anyone else in the world, but god she was pretty. STOP.

"But there are some ground rules."

"Okay?"

"We're not going to be friends, Harley. Think of me as your coworker nothing more. And whatever could have happened between us isn't, so let's forget about Coachella"

"Yea, whatever you want," I reassured sticking my hand out. She looked at it for a second before shaking it

"Yea Okay, let's sign."
