"Blondie, let's go!" Harley yelled, upstairs to her brother. She walked over to the kitchen drawer and grabbed the saran wrap, tossing it to her sister.
"Thanks," Brie mumbled, as she wrapped up the beautiful pie she had made the night before. She looked back toward the stairs expecting the blonde to be rushing down but was met with nothing. "Seriously Luca, hurry up, we don't wanna keep Ly's girlfriend waiting!"
The girl in question just rolled her eyes, being used to her sibling's teasing at this point. That's when they finally heard his loud footsteps stomping down the stairs. "Alright, alright, i'm ready, stop being dramatic."
She opened her mouth to protest, but stopped when her eyes landed on Luca's American flag swim trunks, "very patriotic."
"I thought so," he said, giving them a twirl.
"Yea well, your patriotism is gonna cause us to get stuck in rush hour, so let's go." Brie said, handing off the dessert to her little brother. "Wait, are you still going to Micah's party later, do we need to take separate cars?"
"Yea I am, but I'll probably stay until the end of Jenna's thing and just go after."
The three nodded, exiting the singer's home, the two girls climbed into Brie's car. They drove for a few minutes before Harley reached over to grab her sister's phone looking to change the music. She didn't get a chance before the older girl snatched it away, Harley gave her a weird look, "you cheating on me or something, the hells wrong with you?"
She just laughed softly, "no sorry, I um, just like this song."
The singer just shook her head, "weirdo."
The two continued their long car ride, they would talk about something every few minutes, but for the most part music just played and Harley scrolled on her phone.
A long while later Brie pulled onto the front street of the family's home. There were already cars in the driveway and a few scattered in front of the home. Jenna had told her that she had a pretty large family, and the party would be mostly just that.
Brie spotted a parking spot and turned, but Luca's old jeep cut her off pulling into the spot. The older girl honked her horn, "asshole," she rolled her eyes.
Harley laughed slightly, as Brie pulled forward more, into a new spot. The two hopped out of the car, Brie grabbing the pie out of the backseat, while Harley grabbed the girl's bag, she tossed her car keys to Harley, "can you put these in my purse?"
"Y'all saw this awesome parking spot I got?" Luca. teased, standing on the other side of the road.
"Oh yea, it'd be a real shame if someone keyed your car," the singer flashed the keys in her hand, stepping closer to the boy's car.
Luca just hummed, slinging his arm around the older girl. The three made their way up to the front porch, where Harley knocked lightly on the door.
A few moments later the large door was opened, a girl who looked to be around their age revealing herself. "Hi," she smiled, excitedness laced in her voice, "Jenna!" she called. "Here, you guys come in, i'm Aliyah."
"It's so great to meet you, I'm Harley." The singer said, with a smile, her two siblings began introducing themselves.
She looked past the entrance of the home, where she saw Jenna making her way over to them. "Hi," the young actress smiled as she threw her arms around the taller girl's neck, "I missed you," she murmured, taking in the girls vanilla scent.
