Naina had been feeling miserable ever since she got the devastating news. She had no one to talk to and no place to go. She wandered into Reyansh's room, which was the only vacant one in the house, and made her way to the poolside. She leaned against the railing and stared at the water, hoping to drown her sorrows.

Reyansh had just finished a long and tiring day of work. He was looking forward to relaxing in his room and avoiding Naina. He opened the door and was shocked to see her standing near the poolside. He frowned and asked her what she was doing there, but she did not answer. He walked closer to her and noticed that she was crying softly. He felt a twinge of curiosity and pity. He reached out to touch her shoulder gently.

Naina felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around. She saw Reyansh's surprised face and felt a wave of desperation. She needed someone to comfort her and hold her. She threw her arms around him and cried louder. She felt his warmth and his heartbeat.

Reyansh wrapped his arms around her and tried to calm her down. He said, "Shh... What happened, Naina? Why are you crying?" He wondered what had made her so upset.

Naina took a deep breath and told him the truth. She said, "M-my e-engagement g-got c-cancelled." She told him how her fiancé had cheated on her.

Reyansh was shocked. He was sorry to see Naina in pain, but he also felt a sense of justice. He had always disliked her, but he had never expected her to be betrayed by her own fiancé. He consoled her as she cried, saying that it was his loss and that she would find someone better. He hoped that she would learn her lesson and become a better person.

Naina slowly calmed down and realized that she was still hugging Reyansh. She felt awkward and ashamed for breaking down in front of him. She mumbled, "Sorry, Reyansh. I-I didn't mean to trouble you." She pulled away from him and wiped her tears.

She was about to leave when Reyansh held her hand and stopped her. He said, "Why did your engagement get cancelled? You can tell me more if you want to. I won't judge you."

Naina looked into his eyes and saw a hint of mockery and disdain. She felt angry and offended. She said, "Nothing. It's personal. I don't want to talk about it." She snatched her hand and stormed off, leaving Reyansh amused and smug.

Naina went to her room and picked up her outfit for the Mehendi function of Neha. She had to attend the function and act normal.

The next morning, Naina got up early at 4:00am and went to Neha's room to help her get ready for the Mehendi function. Neha was wearing a gorgeous green lehenga with golden floral embroidery all over it.

The lehenga had a flared skirt that reached the floor and a short-sleeved blouse that hugged her curves. She also wore gold-toned bangles on both her wrists and a green stoned necklace that matched her earrings and maangtika.

She had done her hair in a stylish way, braiding the front part and leaving the rest of her long and flowy hair loose. She looked stunning in her outfit.
