Naina opened her eyes slowly and glanced at the clock. It was 7:00 am. She stretched her arms and yawned. She looked around the room and saw Reyansh standing near the balcony, gazing at the sky. He looked tense and restless. She wondered what was bothering him.

She got up from the bed and walked to the bathroom. She brushed her teeth and washed her face. She knew something was wrong. She went near the balcony. She called out softly, "Reyansh?"

Reyansh turned around and looked at her. His eyes were cold and distant. He asked curtly, "What?" Naina felt a lump in her throat. She asked hesitantly, "A-are y-you g-going?" Reyansh nodded and said in a flat tone, "Yes and you are also coming with me."

Naina was shocked and confused. She asked, "Me? Why?" Reyansh said, "Because, di said." He didn't explain anything else. He walked past her and entered the bathroom. He showered quickly and came out. He went to the closet and picked up his grey suit and white shirt. He wore them without any expression on his face.

He wore his watch and combed his hair. He wore his black shoes and checked his phone. He was ready to go. He didn't look at Naina once.

Naina felt hurt and angry. She didn't understand why he was behaving like this. She showered and went to the closet. She called out, "Reyansh, should I wear Indian today?"

Reyansh said, "Your wish." He didn't care what she wore. Naina sighed and picked up a salwar and wore it. She wanted to look good for him, but he didn't seem to notice her.

She was wearing a white, ankle-length, kurta made of a light, flowing fabric. It had detailed embellishments on the bodice and the hem. It hugged her curves and accentuated her beauty.

The dupatta was also white and matched the dress. It had the same embellishments as the dress and was draped over the shoulders. The heels were pointed and white, and they complemented the outfit.

She wore pearl earrings and let her hair free. She put sindhoor on her hair parting and applied some kajal on her eyes. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled sadly. She wished Reyansh would appreciate her.
