Two months had gone by and the hatred between Naina and Reyansh had only grown stronger. Naina was now engaged to Aakash due to his constant pestering and Aditi's request. He had insulted her in front of everyone and she had not forgiven him. Reyansh also despised her for being a simple and traditional girl. Riya, on the other hand, liked Naina and wanted to be friends with her. She felt that Naina was a kind and genuine person. Neha and Raman had fallen in love and their marriage preparation was also going on full fledge. Meanwhile, two new people had entered the Singhaniya's life.

One was Reyansh's grandmother, Rukmini. She was a strict and conservative woman who believed that women should follow their culture and traditions. She did not approve of Reyansh's lifestyle and choices. The other was Reyansh's girlfriend, Lavanya, who was a modern and fashionable girl. She was a model and a socialite who loved to party and travel. She did not care much about Reyansh's family or their values.

One night, Reyansh came home late from work and saw Radhika and Rukmini busy with some preparations. He asked, "Dadi, what is all this?"

Radhika said, "Ansh, have you forgotten what tomorrow is?" Reyansh realized that it was his parents' death anniversary. He felt a surge of pain and guilt in his heart. He had tried to forget that day, but it still haunted him.

He stood up and walked to his room with his laptop bag. He did not want to face anyone or talk about his parents. Riya saw him from the kitchen and understood his pain. She knew how much he missed their mother. Radhika was about to go after him, but Riya stopped her and said, "Chachi, let me go. I'll talk to him."

Radhika nodded and let her go. Riya went to Reyansh's room and saw him sitting on the sofa and working on his laptop. But she knew that he was not really working. He was just trying to distract himself from his emotions.

She went to him and put her hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw her. He felt a wave of relief and gratitude. He suddenly hugged her waist and buried his face in her stomach. Riya caressed his hair and tried to comfort him. She knew he would not cry, but his eyes said everything. He was hurting and he needed her.

After some time, he let go of her and went downstairs for dinner. He did not have much appetite, but he ate a little to please his grandmother. He then went back to his room. Riya sighed and followed him. She saw him standing on the balcony and looking at the stars. She went there and put her hand on his shoulders.

He hugged her again and then went to his bed. He was feeling tired and drained. He needed some sleep. Riya sat on the bed and Reyansh put his head on her lap. Riya stroked his hair and sang a lullaby softly. Reyansh soon fell asleep in her arms. Riya smiled and rested her head on the headboard. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep as well.

The next morning, the house was bustling with activity and preparations. Lavanya arrived at the house and ran to Reyansh's room. She hugged him from behind and said, "Hi Reyansh. You look handsome."

Reyansh barely acknowledged her and was busy fixing his tie. He was not in a good mood. Lavanya asked, "Reyansh, can we go out today? I want to spend some time with you."

Reyansh shook his head and said, "Not today, Lavanya. I have work to do." Lavanya said, "But, I want to go today and celebrate. We haven't gone out for a long time."

Reyansh lost his patience and snapped, "CELEBRATE WHAT? MY PARENT'S DEATH?" Lavanya was shocked and confused. She asked, "Today is their death anniversary?"

Reyansh said, "YES, IT IS. HOW CAN YOU BE SO INSENSITIVE AND SELFISH? ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS SHOPPING, GOSSIPING AND TRAVELLING. YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ME OR MY FAMILY. YOU CALL YOURSELF MY GIRLFRIEND, BUT YOU DON'T EVEN REMEMBER THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY OF MY LIFE?"
