Chapter 13

Naina went to her room and opened the cupboard and a document dropped out. When she read it she was shocked beyond words.

Naina broke down on the bed and she sobbed uncontrollably. Reyansh came and saw her and asked, "What happened?"

Naina showed him the papers and asked, "You want Neha and Raman to get divorced?" Reyansh was stunned.

Reyansh had brought those papers as a backup plan if Naina would not agree to marry him, but she had agreed and he forgot to get rid of them. Reyansh said, "Listen-"

Naina said, "HOW CAN YOU THINK OF DESTROYING YOUR OWN BROTHER'S LIFE FOR YOUR BENEFIT? HE HAS HIS OWN IDENTITY RIGHT? THEN WHY DO YOU WANT TO SHATTER NEHA'S AND RAMAN'S LIFE?"

Reyansh said, "HOW CAN YOU THINK OF ALTERING AAKASH JIJU'S FEELINGS FOR DI? LISTEN NAINA SINGHANIYA, I LOVE MY DI VERY MUCH BECAUSE SHE WAS THE ONE WHO SUPPORTED ME WHEN I NEEDED HER THE MOST, SO IF ANYTHING HURTS HER, I WON'T THINK TWICE BEFORE RUINING IT."

Naina was shocked and she asked, "Y-you w-want t-to r-ruin m-m-e?" Reyansh said, "No, but you are bound to me for life, now my di and jiju can live peacefully."

Naina had tears. Even though she was innocent she was blamed. She went to the bathroom and locked it and cried. Reyansh went to the balcony and stood there. Riya came into their room and asked, "Chote?"

Reyansh turned and asked, "Yes, di." Riya asked, "Come down for dinner. Where is Naina?" Reyansh said, "She is in the bathroom."

Naina came out and she smiled weakly at Riya and went down without looking at Reyansh. Riya asked, "Chote, did you and Naina have a fight?"

Reyansh said, "Yes di and its over a trivial matter, we will sort it out." Riya kissed his forehead and said, "I know my chote will sort it out, now come down."

Reyansh picked up his phone and went down and sat next to Naina. Naina was silently eating her dinner when Nanditha asked, "Ansh, tell me about your and Naina's love story."

Radhika also nodded, "Haan Ansh, we also want to know." Reyansh looked at Naina and took a deep breath and said, "I met Naina at college fest where I was the guest speaker. We became friends and soon started dating."

Naina continued, "We dated for 2 years and then realised we were in love with each other and decided to get married."

Mansi was shocked when she found out that Reyansh was dating for the past two years. Riya smacked Reyansh's arms playfully and said, "Chote, you didn't care to tell me about it?"

Reyansh said, "Di, you would have made fun of me very badly when I told you about her." Riya said, "Its the sister's privilege to tease her brother, chote."

Reyansh rolled her eyes and said, "Accha di, please stop it. Hum dono shaadi kiya aur kush hai."

Naina thought to herself, "Does he have a habit of lying? He said so easily that we are happy. And he doesn't say sorry or thank you easily. Strange man."

Naina was snapped out of her thoughts when Reyansh shook her lightly and asked, "Where are you lost, Naina?"

Naina shook her said and said, "Nowhere." Arjun said, "Chote, your naniji had called. She wants to meet you and Riya."

Reyansh's face darkened and he left from the table and Riya had tears in her eyes and Aakash held her hands. Naina looked confused and went behind Reyansh and saw him staring at his mother's picture.

Naina said gently, "Reyansh?" Reyansh turned towards her and asked, "What?" Naina sensed the harshness in his voice and continued, "W-what's w-wrong?"

Reyansh turned his back to her and said, "Something personal." Naina said, "If you share it, you will feel better. Afterall I am your wife and I have to share your burdens, right?"
