Waking up in a house unfamiliar,
Her life, a story of a classic thriller.
The story continued after a few years.
A child found a family in cheers.
She still feels lost as what she knew was fraud.
She still feels in a perfect family she is flawed.
Afraid now of the outside world.
The voice of her once Dad calling out to his little girl.
She awakes each night from a recurring nightmare.
Running through the maze of her kidnapper's lair.
Unbeknownst of the knowledge in this world.
Still feeling as if she is his little girl.
She fights and curses hating her new family.
Locking herself away from all that could see.
Hearing his voice call out in the back of her head.
Trauma and fear wanting her dead.
Still a teen,
Who isn't keen,
Growing so lean,
Heart going cold, soul going mean.
Hating the world, as daddy's little girl.
Not feeling right in her skin.
In the mirror of the story of Gracie Lynn.
