The holidays had just ended, The moment (Name) was allowed to come over again Rodrick had hassled her until she finally showed up, He had gotten rid of all his adult magazines (As far as (Name) and Susan knew) and she had spent most of the holidays with the Heffley's

They were driving up to the new roller rink that was open for the new 7th graders, "This is a Greg thing, I don't see why (Name) or I had to come" Rodrick groaned as he got out of the car holding the door open for (Name) to get out

"because Rodrick this is a family event, and like it or not your apart of the Heffley family and we see (Name) as part of the family" Susan explained "yeah, that and we already paid for both your tickets" Frank spoke up getting out of the car

They all walked into the rink, beginning to go their separate ways as Greg spotted Rowley. "well, I got in for free thanks to your parents and I'm not wasting it! I'm going to skate" (Name) announced to Rodrick who only smiled

"well the bands here somewhere I'll find go find them, don't be scared to come over anytime" Rodrick said as they walked side by side towards the skates counter "When have I ever been worried about your band?" She spoke in a happy voice

"Alright, just being gentlemanly" Rodrick joked back "be careful" He ruffled her hair before spotting his band and walking off "Aww you care!" (Name) called out after him causing him to shake his head with a smile.

Rodrick and his band mates walked up to Greg, who lent against the rinks wall "hey can you break a leg or something so we can leave? I wanna show (Name) the new drum solo" He asked Greg who didn't answer

Greg sighed dreamily, Rodrick rose a brow kneeling to get at his level chuckling softly as he spotted a blonde girl around Gregs age skating "oh...that'll never happen, there's no chance that girl would ever talk to you" "well (Name) talks to you, and I just talked to her and we'll probably skate later" Greg announced

"ok first, (Name) loves hanging around me and as much as it may seem, she is not out of my league. and if you're so sure...see that clock there" Rodrick pointed to a large digital clock "they play a slow song for the top of every hour for couples skate, if you're so confident...ask her to skate" Rodrick teases with a smirk

"maybe I will" Greg says "whatcha waiting for, wimp, you the man" He laughs before walking off with his band members. (Name) skated around the rink in circles asking Greg if he needed help when she saw him struggling to which he replied with a 'no I'm fine'

(Name) only nodded with an 'ok then, be careful' as she skated off. The music soon changed to a slow song the man over the mic saying "all hardcore skaters off the rink unless your looking for love! its slow skate time!"

Rodrick stood with Bill on the Dj stand as Bill began to set the record up, Rodrick putting his hand Infront of him to stop "what?" Bill asked "just wait a sec" Rodrick said as he looked through the crowd making sure (Name) had gotten off the rink, moving his arm once he spotted her sitting on a bench removing her skates.

The music changed as Bill called over the mic "enough of that total lameness! who's ready to rock!" "whoo!" Rodrick yelled as heavy metal began to play over the speaker and hardcore skaters began to hop into the rink.

Rodrick smirked as Greg looked at him with a look of disbelief. "Rodrick, what are you doing" (Name) asked not noticing Greg and Rowley in the rink "and whos that?" "this (Name) is our bands newest member, Bill this is (Name)" Rodrick introduced them
