The weekend went by quickly and without any hassle, (Name) hadn't really seen the set up. Her parents had wanted to make it a surprise, so she had been at Rodricks all day

It was later in the evening getting close to when the party was starting, "Rodrick, I gotta get going you sure you don't want a lift?" She asked peaking her head into the Garage

The band was packing up all their equipment to fit it into the van, Rodrick looked up walking over to her "nah I'll stay with the band...don't trust this lot to drive my van" He admitted

"alright well then...I will see you tonight" She smiled, he smiled back before seeming to remember something "Hang on! I have something" He walked past her

He made his way back inside the house and up to his bedroom, (Name) staying along side him. As they made it to the top of the steps Rodrick began to look around his room

"I had it...but I hid it" He said digging through his draws, buried under a pile of clothes he smiled grabbing the box. He walked back over to her a pep in his step

"Alright! Happy 16th!" He smiled passing her a small box, She smiles taking it "whats this? you didn't have to get me something"

"of course I did! besides I saw it and thought I wanted to get it for your 16th.....if I'm being honest I was planning on confessing to....but worked out well for me" He admitted with a smile

"how long ago did you buy it?" She asked shocked, looking up at him while opening it, He shrugs. She looked down into the box. It was a small necklace of a drum set, cheesy? yes, did she love it? of course

It looked "cheap" but she didn't care at all, and the thought of him buying it for her even before they were together made her even happier, she picked it up by the chain. "It's gorgeous" She smiled

He let out a breath "thank god...I was worried you wouldn't" "You know me better than that...." She smiled back "can you help me put it on?" She turned around

He took the necklace from her hand, wrapping it around her neck, leaning in closer to try and clip it. "you got it?" She asked with a chuckle

"yeah yeah" He brushed it off, his tongue sticking out as he tried to concentrate. "This looks easier in those romcom movies" He mutters

She chuckles as it clipped "ah ha! Got it" He smiled, She spun on her heal, adjusting the necklace "I love it" She smiled, placing a kiss under his chin

"I'll see you at the party" She smiled, heading down the stairs "alright! love you!" He called "love you too!" She called back before closing his bedroom door heading out the front door

Back in Rodricks room he had a love drunk smile on his face, "she loved it!" He celebrated to himself before looking at his clock "I'll be late" He said to himself heading down to help the band load the van

Rodrick parked is van next to the large white tent, they opened the back of the van Greg and Rowley jumping out of the back

"remember you guys are on in 30 minutes" Greg reminds "relax....My brothers been working on the pyrotechnics all day...its gonna kick butt...besides we wouldn't ruin (Names) 16th" Rodricks right hand man reassured

The rest of the band beginning to unload the equipment, Greg furrowed his brows "wait....what does your brother do?" "Hes a demolition expert" he shruggs

Rodrick walked over behind his best friend - Besides (Name) - "Hey you leave the rocking to us, okay?" He told his brother "its what we do!"

"now get to work roadies" Rodrick smiled, Greg and Rowley looked at one another before carrying the speakers inside of the tent
