Lilli was sitting in her room reading a book when something hit her window. She put her book down on her bed and walked over looking outside to see her best friend Enola Holmes stood outside. She sent the girl a small smile and a wave which was returned before Lilli headed downstairs to go outside.
"Hey Nola, what are you doing here? It's late." Lilli asks.
"Mycroft is sending me to a finishing school." Enola tells her best friend.
"What? That's insane." Lilli says. "You won't survive a day."
"Thanks for having faith in me, Lils." Enola jokes.
"I really do love you, Nola. But it's true." Lilli says.
"I know." Enola says, before sighing. "That's why I'm running away."
"What?" Lilli asks, looking completely shocked.
"I know it sounds crazy. But I really can't go to finishing school. I just can't, Lil." Enola tells the brunette.
"I know." Lilli says. "I wish I could come with you, but I can't leave Liam after he just came back."
"I know." Enola tells her.
"Just promise me you'll be careful. And that you'll write to me every so often so I know that you are okay, and know where to find you if I need you." Lilli tells her.
"I promise." Enola says, giving her best friend a tight hug, which Lilli returns. "I'll write to you as soon as I find a place to stay."
"You better." Lilli says, as the pair pull apart.
"Lilli, where are you?" Liam shouts from inside the house.
"I got to go. Before Liam sees me." Enola says.
"Go. Stay safe." Lilli says.
Enola nods, giving her best friends hand a sqeezue before running off.
"There you are, Lil's. What are you doing out here by yourself?" Liam asks, as his sister had her back to him wipping a few stray tears away.
"I just needed some fresh air." Lilli says, turning to face her brother.
"Oh okay. Well are you ready to come back inside?" Liam asks.
"Yeah." Lilli says, before the pair walk back into the house.
"Mr Wilson. Ms Wilson." Eva says, walking towards the pair. "Your presence is requested at the Holmes residence. Miss Holmes has disappeared."
Liam and Lilli look at each other, before Lilli looks away and down at the floor.

Two days. It had been two days since Enola had ran away. Lilli was in her room, drawing by the window, when Eva knocks on the door before entering.
"Ms Wilson. There's a letter for you." Eva says, handing Lilli an envelope.
"Thank you, Eva." Lilli says, taking the letter.
Eva gives her a small smile and a slight bow of the head before walking out.
Lilli puts her pencil down on the ledge of the easel, before opening the envelope.

'Dear Lilli,
I have found a place to stay for a while until I fully get on my feet. A lovely women has given me a lodging. On the train I met this boy. Told me his name was Lord Tewkesbury. I was telling him about you and he seemed to know you. I'm no longer with him. Don't know where he's gone to. I hope your doing well. Don't worry about me Lil's I'll be okay. Just please do not let Mycroft or Sherlock find out. I know you most likely want to know where I am, but it's best if I don't tell you so then you don't feel the need to lie for me. I love you, Lils. I'll write to you again soon. Miss you and hope you are okay.
Love from,
EH'

That name was all too familiar. Tewkesbury. Lord Tewkesbury. Lilli's childhood best friend. The pair use to be as close as ever. But one day they never saw each other, and neither of them knew why. Lilli thought the boy hated her, because she would write to him, but never get a reply. So she grew to hate him as well. And vowed never to fall in love again. Because she had fallen in love with Tewkesbury. Maybe he knew that and thats why he ignored her. Lilli didn't know. But she knew she could never fall in love again. She couldn't go through that pain.
