Arranged marriages wasn't an uncommon thing in the world Lilli Wilson lived in. Loads of her friends were forced into arranged marriages, mainly by their fathers who were trying become friendly with other lords. But the last thing the brunette expected was for her father to walk into her room one Friday morning and tell her he had arranged a marriage for her. She was only 13 at the time and had no plans of getting married anytime soon. Sure her friends had been forced into arranged marriage when they were only 12 but this was the last thing she expected from her father.

On Lilli's 18 birthday, she was having a fun day with her brother, Tewkesbury, Enola and Sherlock Holmes, Sarah and Bessie Chapman and Elizabeth Styles,. When there was a knock on the door. A few moments later Eva walks in. "Miss Wilson, you have a couple visitors." Eva tells her, before an older man and a boy around Lilli's age walks in. "Lord Henry." Lilli says, standing up. "Alexander Henry. To what do I owe the pleasure?" "Lilli Wilson. Don't tell me you have forgotten." Lord Henry says, with a laugh. "Forgotten what, sir?" Lilli questions. "The deal your father made with me that you would marry my son here." Lord Henry says, patting Alexander on the shoulder. "He made that deal 5 years ago and he's now dead. so I'm sorry but the deal is no longer valid." Lilli tells him. "I'm afraid it very much is. We agreed that you guys would be married when you are both 18 no matter what." Lord Henry tells her, causing her to look back at her group of friends before looking back at Lord Henry. "I'm sorry. But I am not going to marry you son. I am sure you are amazing, Alexander. But I'm not going to be forced into something as big as marriage." Lilli tells them. "I'm afraid you don't have a choice. Your father made a deal with me and I'm not going to let it go easy just because he's dead." Lord Henry tells her. "But, I know it's your birthday today, so we'll head out and let you enjoy the rest of your day. We'll be in touch." Lord Henry then walks out the room, Alexander mouths 'I'm sorry.' To Lilli before following his father out the room. Lilli stares at the doorway shocked before turning back to her friends who had just as shocked looks.

Before Lilli fully had time to process the situation she was in, she was stood in front of a mirror in a white dress. The brunette felt completely sick. She didn't want any of this. She didn't want to be marrying Alexander Henry, she didn't even know the guy. Yet due to her fathers stupid decision, she was being forced to. While she was stood staring at herself, feeling more and more sick every second, there was a knock at the door. "Come in." She called, absentmindedly wiping under her eyes to get rid of the possible stray tears. She turns around just as Tewkesbury steps through the door. "Wow." Tewkesbury breaths out. "Tewkes? What are you doing here?" Lilli asks, as Tewkesbury closes the door. "I had to see you." Tewkesbury says. "Tewkes, I really want to see you to, but I can't. Not anymore. It's just going to hurt us both if we continue on seeing each other, knowing we can't be together." Lilli says. "Don't marry him." Tewkesbury says, walking over to her. "What?" Lilli asks, barely audible. "Don't marry him." Tewkesbury repeats, now standing infront of her. "I don't have a choice." Lilli tells him. "Yes you do. Your Lilli Wilson. You don't let anyone force you into anything." Tewkesbury says. "There's no way out of this for me. I don't want to do this, but this guy paid my father so I would one day marry his son, he's not going to let that go." Lilli says. "How much did he pay your father?" Tewkesbury asks. "I don't know. He refuses to say." Lilli says. "Do you think you could hold of the wedding for a couple hours?" Tewkesbury asks, causing Lilli to give him a confused look. "What are you going to do?" Lilli asks. "I'm going to go and offer to pay him back the money so you can be free." Tewkesbury says, heading for the door. "Tewkesbury, stop." Lilli says, grabbing Tewkesbury wrist and turning him to her. "I can't let you do that." "I'm not going to lose you Lilli." Tewkesbury says. "I already lost you when we were younger. I can't go through that again." "I'll always be with you. Tewkes, you're the only person I want to be with." Lilli tells him. "Then let me go give Lord Henry the money." Tewkesbury tells her. "I can't. Liam already told me he was going to and I refused. I have to do this Tewkes, no matter how much I don't want to." Lilli says. "I love you, Lilli." Tewkesbury says. "I love you to, Tewkesbury." Lilli replies, leaning up and touching his lips with hers, for the last time. After the two pulled apart Liam came in and it was time for the wedding.
The wedding was in full swing, when the officiant asked if anyone ejected, Lilli couldn't help but look towards Tewkesbury. It was clear the boy wanted to stand up and eject but, the brunette slowly shook her head telling him not to. No matter how much she loved Tewkesbury, she had to go through with this wedding. She couldn't let anyone give anything up to help her. She had to do this for her family.
