Dáithi pushed himself up as his lungs burned as if he were breathing inside of an oven. A warm soft hand touches his ice-cold wet body as he looked up, startled. His ice-blue shimmering eyes looking up at the deep blue orbs of a familiar face, smiling down at him.

S'ona escorted the Elite Guard to the Temple of History in search of Prince Fisher, but upon finding the temple empty and quiet, they departed leaving her laying in the mud for her false information.

The Elite Guard had a terrible knack of being foul tempered...

"Prince Fisher!" cried out S'ona as she cradles him in her arms.

With a brilliant flash of light, the trident of the Oceanid people had teleported out of the ocean and clanged upon the stony ground, sliding safely away from them.

"What happened!? Why are you all wet? Where did you go? Where is Li Ban at?"

Dáithi was dazed as he focused on the priestess and then feeling the urge to cough, turned as he threw-up a lungful of seawater. This horrified S'ona as she held him, patting him on his back to help the expulsion of the saltwater from his lungs.

She worried for him as she lifted her hand to activate her crystalline device.

"I'll call a healer to meet us at the palace!"

"No!" he choaks, coughing. He looks up at the priestess, his heart mixed with the emotions of Kelaino and his own. "Please, just help me up, S'ona."

The priestess helps Dáithi up to his feet as she needed to know what just had happened to him. The last time that she saw him, she left him with Li Ban here at the temple.

"What happened?" she asked again, more urgently this time.

He looked up at the priestess as he did not know where to begin. Yet, the images of them from the past were forever crystallized within his mind. Considering their ancient friendship, he decides to tell her only the truth.

"I learned the Potamoi song." he told her. S'ona stares at him, shocked to hear that.

"How is that even possible!?" she asked him "We have been trying to interpret that song since the fall of Potamoi!"

Dáithi knows the danger of the song as the melody continued to play fresh inside his mind. The song was actively reworking his cells even now, bringing him closer to a final metamorphosis into a mermaid.

"What is it?" she asked him, noticing that he was thinking about something.
