Trying to move on, Matsuda asked a question.
„What do you think are the chances of a second Kira really existing?"
„This time.. i'd say 70%. The real Kira has no reason to prove himself. He has avoided killing innocent people in the past. That's why i need your son, Mr Yagami."

Light's POV:
It's been 2 weeks since i've been going to school with A/n. We've gotten fairly close in that time, and she's already told me some stuff about L. From what i can see, their bond is genuine. I see them around town sometimes, driving somewhere together. I don't see L at school anymore, though.
Slowly but surely, i can start using this for my advantage. How should i start, though?
I don't know if i should reveal L's secret. That could make her trust me less.. On the other hand, she could feel betrayed and see me as a savior. I would need evidence though.
L is gonna figure out that there's 2 Kiras eventually.. What if i make them think she's the second Kira, so she sees him there with her own eyes?
No... He wouldn't show himself then... Ugh... I think i need some more time for this.
How about i call her over? Some extra ‚bonding' can't hurt, right?
I went to grab my phone from my pocket, quickly dialing her number.

Y/n's POV:
Sitting at the meeting, your eyes were lidded, not really bothering to pay attention. Then suddenly, someones phone started loudly ringing.
It was yours.
You sighed in annoyance, everyone was staring at you at this point. Flipping it open with an annoyed look, suddenly your eyes widen at seeing the number. You made a ‚Shh' sound before picking up, holding the phone to your ear tightly.
„H-Hello?? Oh Light! How are you?" you panicked, looking at L wide eyed. Light had never called you after school, so this was pretty shocking.
„You wanna hang out?" Repeating his sentence, you looked at L for reassurance, to which L he started frantically nodding.
„Sure! Oh, right now? Alright. I'll go get ready real quick! I'll see you then!" you hung up the phone, laying it on your lap and sighing.
„I have to hurry!! Quick!! Get some recorders to hang up on my coat!"
„No.. If he catches you, it won't end well. Especially if he's Kira." L warned.
„You're right.."
„But you're sick. If anything happens, i want you to call me immediately. I'll come pick you up personally. Alright?"
„Will do. Oh and, thank you for everything recently." You whispered the last part. L looked at you happily.
You made your way out of the Hotel. God.. Do i really have to walk??? No other option at hand, you started running a bit, but not enough to start sweating.
