Chapter 1: John's Debut as Brian O'Conner

With John

Somewhere in LA

At noon

John pulled up in his green car.

He stopped and looked forward.

He sighs as he revs the car.

He then switches to first gear and revs, and takes off down the road.

He then holds onto the wheel tight and switches into second gear.

Then third and fourth.

John then after a couple of minutes has the car spin out of control as he turns the wheel quick to regain control.

He did as he stopped in motion.

He then was panting as he looks forward.

John then smacks the dashboard and yelled, "Shit!"

He then drove off as he saw the LA buildings in the distance.

Later

John was driving to Toretto's Market and Café.

John had parked his truck and walked into Toretto's.

John sat down at the counter as he saw Mia Toretto.

Mia asked, "Tuna on white, no crust, right?"

John opened his magazine and said, "I don't know. How is it?"

Mia looked up "Every day for the last three weeks you've been coming in here and you've been asking me how the tuna is." She said as she looks at him, "Now, it was crappy yesterday, it was crappy the day before. And guess what? It hasn't changed." She continued to say.

John smiled and said, "I'll have the tuna."

Mia asks "No crust?"

John says "No crust." As he looks at his magazine.

John then saw someone in the back get up and get a beer from the cooler.

The man looked at John and walked back into his office.

Mia then came over with John's tuna sandwich, and before he ate it he said, "Thank you."

Mia looked at his magazine and turned the page and saw a sports car.

Then they heard engines whining as they saw race cars parking next to each other side ways.

John and Mia saw a bunch of people get out of the cars and they went back to looking at the magazine and John eating his sandwich.

John then started to talk to Mia to strike a conversation with her.

Mia saw the group walk in and said, "What's up, guys?"

Jesse says "How you doing, Mia?"

Letty then asked, "How you living, girl?"

Then the boys tossed each other snacks as one of them yells "Hey!"

Letty walked near Dom's office and asked, "Hey, Dom. You want something to drink?"

John saw Dom lift up his beer to show Letty, he had a drink.

Then Vince slid a bowl of condiments at John.

Then both men did a stare down at each other for a minute.

Mia said, "Vince." And he didn't answer her.

Then John looked at her.

Mia then yelled, "Vince!"

He looked at her and asked, "What?"

Mia asks "Can I get you anything?"

Vince nods and says "You look good."

John then looked at Vince for a second, stood up and took out some money and said, "Well, thanks a lot, Mia. See you tomorrow." As he set the money on the counter.

John walked out of the store and once he got past the race cars he heard someone yell "Yo! Try Fatburger from now on. You can get yourself a Double Cheese with fries for $2.95, faggot."

John looks back and saw Vince and said, "I like the tuna here."

Vince saw John walk towards his truck and shouts "Bullshit, asshole. No one likes the tuna here."

John got to his truck and says "Yeah, well, I do."

Then he was pushed into his truck by Vince.

John looks back and gave Vince a left punch to the face.

Then John was tackled into his truck as he struggles to hold Vince back.

John got out, but then was tackled and pushed back to the race cars.

John then grabs a hold of Vince and punches him multiple times in the stomach.

John waa pushed to the ground as he was wailed on by Vince as he was on top of him.

They got up and John was tackled into Vince's car.

Then into Leon's car, and John pushed Vince's face back away from him.

John then pushed Vince on the ground, got on top of him and begins to wail on him.

He then was grabbed and pushed on top of Vince's car as he looks up to see Toretto looking at him.

John got off the car as he holds his hands up and says "Hey, man, he was in my face."

Dom said, "I'm in your face."

Vince then tried to attack John again, but was pushed back by Dom who yelled, "Relax! Don't push it! You embarrass me!"

Leok pushes Vince back and says "Get over there!"

Dom saw John's wallet on the ground and says "Jesse, give me the wallet."

Jesse handed the wallet to Dom who looked at it and said, "'Brian O'Conner'. Is that your name?"

John nods and says "Yeah."

Dom said, "Don't come around here again." As he handed John his wallet.

John grabbed his wallet and Dom walked towards his store and John shouted, "Hey, man, you know this is bullshit."

Dom looks back, walks over and asks "You work for Harry, right?"

John nods and says "Yeah, I just started."

Dom said, "You were just fired." And he walks back to his store

John sighs and he walks to his truck and drives off to The Racer's Edge.
