Love and Justice Pt 2 (Dick Grayson aka Nightwing)

Inferno and Robin were on the roof of apartment complex in Gotham.

Robin
There has been a Deathstroke sighting at a warehouse over on Melrose Boulevard. How do you wanna proceed Inferno?

Inferno
Get on the Comms and tell Batman and Nightwing that we are going to check it out. But only recon until it's necessary to use force.

Robin
Copy

The two floated or swung through the streets of Gotham.

Robin
Robin to Batman and Nightwing come in

Batman
Go for Batman and Nightwing

Robin
There has been a Deathstroke sighting. Inferno and I are going to check it out. Only recon till force is needed orders of Inferno.

Nightwing
Copy that I am on my way for backup.

Inferno
Negative Nightwing backup is not needed at this time.

Batman
I am sending him anyway.

Inferno (scoffed)
Copy that. We are across the street from the old warehouse on Melrose.

Nightwing
Copy be there in 5 stay out of sight but run surveillance till I get there. Do not engage. 

Robin
Copy

Inferno walked away from the edge of the building and walked over to Robin

Inferno
Robin stay here run surveillance on the surrounding streets so we don't get a surprise from behind. Im going to do surveillance of the building.

Robin
Nightwing told us to stay out of sight.

Inferno
And I will. I will be back with info. Stay put.

Robin
Okay.

5 minutes on the dot passes Nightwing lands on the building that Robin was on. He looked around but didn't see Inferno.

Nightwing
Where is Inferno

Robin
She went down to run surveillance of the building.

Nightwing
How long ago?

Robin
5 or so. She said she will be back with info.

Nightwing
God that woman will be the death of me.

Nightwing sent out one of the Bat drones into the warehouse to see if he could find his partner. When the drone got into the building it showed Inferno's  hands were tied above her head with purple glowing chains around them.

Nightwing
God damnit, Robin send Comms to Batman. Tell him Inferno has been captured and tell him our location.

Robin
Okay but what are you going to do?

Nightwing
Im going to go get my Wife.

Nightwing shot a zip line down the warehouse and zoomed down the wire. He went to the nearest door and kicked it in. When he got in he saw that his wife was unconscious.

Nightwing
What the hell did you do to her?

Deathstroke
Nothing as of right now but she will be awake anytime just long enough to see you die.

Nightwing ran over to Deathstroke hitting him blow after blow. He was winning to but Deathstroke had enough so he walked over to Inferno and put a knife to her throat just in time for her to wake up to.

Deathstroke
Well good morning beautiful.

Nightwing
Dont fucking touch her.

Inferno
Nightwing these chains I can't use my telekinesis.

Deathstroke
Thats right I heard about your little telekinetic powers so I took precautions you little bitch.

Inferno
You know Im getting really fucking tired of that word. Nightwing find cover now.

Deathstroke
Oh what are you gonna—

And before Deathstroke could finish his sentence. Nightwing found cover and Inferno's body became engulfed in flames. Burning so hot she melted the chains and the knife at her throat. She dropped down to the floor and stood up. Deathstoke was nearly blinded but when he regained his sight he had the look of utter shock and fear on his face.

Inferno
I am guessing by the look on your face nobody told you about my other abilities. There are actually a lot of people out there that have more than one.

Deathstoke
You bitch.

Inferno
Okay Ive had enough.

Inferno lifted her hand and Deathstroke went up with it.

Inferno
You know if I really wanted to I could break every bone in your body, But that is a lot of paperwork that I don't really want to do. So this is what is going to happen. I am going to cuff you and we are going to wait for Batman to get here so he can deal with your dumb ass. Sound good.

When Inferno got done talking Nightwing walked up behind her. He looked at his partner with pride. She then walked over to Deathstoke and cuffed his arms and legs.

Nightwing
Why didn't you do that sooner?

Inferno
I had to let you have some fun first now didn't I.

Nightwing
Point taken thank you.

When Batman arrived he asked for the full report and was shocked when he heard that Inferno was the one that stopped him.

Batman
Nice work guys. Everyone head home.

And with that everyone went home.

Dick
How did he catch you tonight?

Aubrey
The dumb ass snuck up behind me and chloroformed me.

Dick (sighed)
You know it could have gone a different way tonight.

Aubrey
Dick if you're mad at me for not staying on the roof. That's exactly what you would do in fact you have. Every time that we have been patrolling together. So for like what 11 years of patrols.

Dick
I know that's why Im not mad.

Aubrey
Your not?

He pulled her into a tight hug

Dick
No! You really handled yourself today I'm proud of you.

Aubrey
I love you Richard John

Dick
I love you too Aubrey Jean

The two walked up the their room had fun time then went to sleep.
