Love and Justice Pt 2 (Dick Grayson aka Nightwing)

The next morning Aubrey woke up before the boys so she walks down to the kitchen to make breakfast. She made french toast, eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns. She placed the last plate on the table when the two sleepy boys walked down the stairs.

Wally
mmm It smells amazing down here.

Dick walked over to Aubrey wrapping his arms around her.

Dick
Thats what happens when you have the best cook in the world as your wife.

Aubrey turned around to face her husband.

Aubrey (giggles)
You're such a kiss ass.

The door bell rang and Aubrey walked out of the dining room.

Aubrey
I'll get that you guys eat.

Aubrey got to the front door and opened it. Standing on the other side was Artemis.

Aubrey
Artemis hi.

Artemis
Hey! Have you seen Wally we got into an argument last night and he hasn't come home yet.

Aubrey sighed and opened the door further.

Aubrey
Yeah come in.

The two walked into the dining room and everyone went quiet. Wally stood up to talk.

Wally
Atem—

Wally was cut off by Aubrey.

Aubrey
Before you guys talk sit down and eat.

Everyone looked at Aubrey not moving an inch.

Aubrey
Im serious there is no point to arguing on a empty stomach so sit down and eat.

Everyone sat down at the table in silence while they grabbed food. Dick grabbed Aubrey's hand to reassure her that she made the right call. After everyone was finished Aubrey grabbed all of the dishes and took them into the kitchen. Dick followed his wife to give Wally and Artemis some privacy.

Dick
You did a good thing.

Aubrey (giggled)
I know. Nobody ever feels like arguing when they are full.

Dick
Well I don't know about that.

Aubrey grabbed Dicks hand and pulled him to the doorway of the dining room. Artemis and Wally were hugging.

Aubrey looked back at Dick and smiled.

Aubrey
Point proven.

Dick pulled Aubrey back into the kitchen and put his arms on her hips while sitting on a barstool.

Dick
You know you're amazing right.

Aubrey
I know I know. Im amazing and you're the luckiest guy in the world.

Dick grinned ear to ear.

Dick
When did you get telepathy powers?

Aubrey
Oh shut up you tell me everyday since we first got together.

Dick
And Im going to continue to tell you till the day we die.

Aubrey pulled Dick into a kiss when they pulled apart they noticed their friends standing in front of them.

Dick
So have you guys kissed and made up yet.

Wally
Id say so

Aubrey
Thats great. As much as I would love to chat. I have to grade homework. Aubrey kissed Dick's cheek then walked upstairs to her office then shut the door.

Dick
She's going to be up there for 2 hours.

Artemis
She works on Saturdays.

Dick
No she just grades Fridays homework.
