After going crazy on buying baby clothing. Aubrey went back home. She took all of the bags out of the car and went inside. Aubrey walked up the stairs to the nursery. She opened the door and pulled all of the clothes she bought and put them into the closet arranging them by color. When she got done it was already 9pm. Aubrey went into the master bathroom and got into the shower. 5 Minutes into the shower she felt a familiar calming presence near here.

Aubrey
Dick if you're trying to scare me it's not going to work.

Dick
Damnit how do you do that.

Aubrey
I felt your presence as soon as you walked through the bedroom door.

Dick
Dang it.

Aubrey
You cant get anything past me.

Dick
Do you want me to join you?

Aubrey
If you want to

Dick
I want to.

Aubrey
Okay so why you still standing there.

Dick chuckled then started to take off his gear then got into the shower.He wraps his arms around snaking them to her stomach. Aubrey with her back to her chest.Aubrey just melts into his touch. Like it was all that she longed for like it was the last time she would ever feel him this close to her again. Dick loved to drive her crazy he started to kiss Aubrey's neck, and she rolled her head back laying it on his chest. Aubrey then turned around and pushed him up against the wall smothering him was an attack of kisses. Then have their fun time.
After the two got out of the shower Dick walked down the kitchen to make food for him and Aubrey. Aubrey walked down shortly after.

Aubrey
Are we still wanting to do next month ultrasound even though we already know that she is a she?

Dick
Yeah just to make sure she's still healthy.

Aubrey
Okay.

Dick
Were you not wanting to go?

Aubrey
No thats not it. I just wanted to see what you wanted to do.

Dick
I don't see the hurt in going.

Aubrey
Okay then we will go. Artemis will be a little mad that she wont be able to plan the gender reveal anyway.

Dick
I say let her.

Aubrey
Okay. How was patrol?

Dick
It was kind of boring to be honest.

Aubrey
Stop any bad guys?

Dick
A few break ins why?

Aubrey
Because I miss going out and kicking ass. Im grasping for any detail of a fight.

Dick
Oh. Well there wasn't much going on tonight.

Aubrey
God why do they have to be so boring it's not whelming at all.

Dick
Yeah tell me about it. Im going back out again tomorrow hopefully there will be more I can tell you.

Aubrey
Hopefully

They both laugh at the other's words as they ate their food. After eating they walk up to their room.

Dick
You wanna watch some movies before bed?

Aubrey
Sure, but I can't promise that I will stay awake this little girl is taking all of my energy.

Dick
ahh since we know its a girl we can talk about names.

Aubrey
Yeah Id like that.

Dick walks to the bed and faceplates into it while Aubrey gently sat down. Dick turns on a movie.

Dick
what about Gwendolyn?

Aubrey throws her head back and laughs.

Aubrey
No

Dick
Why not?

Aubrey
That name sounds like shes an old lady.

Dick
It's cute though.

Aubrey
No I Vito.

Dick
I regret giving you vito power

Aubrey
Rude. You have Vito too.

Dick and Aubrey both laugh at each other then they both went silent to watch the movie. Aubrey closes her eyes and places her hand on her stomach.

Dick
Whats wrong?

Aubrey
Shes kicking me...It hurts a little.

Dick
Really are you okay?

Aubrey smiles, and nods her head then grabs Dick's hand to place it into her stomach. Dick's eye widen as an ear to ear grin plasters into his face.

Dick
Thats amazing.

Aubrey
Yeah. Thats the first time Ive felt her kick.Ive felt her move around but never kicked.

For the first time in what seems like forever Dick was truly speechless. Amazed that something so small could be so powerful.

Aubrey
What about Alona Mary?

Dick
You wanna use my mother's name as our daughter's middle name?

Aubrey
Yeah. It's cute right? I know I never got the chance to meet your mom but this way our little girl will have a piece of her.

Dick
I love it, but what about your mom?

Aubrey
What about her? My parents abandoned me forcing me to be apart of the foster care system. Im not naming our child after her.  You out of all people should know that.

Dick
What was her name?

Aubrey rolled her eyes knowing Dick wouldn't give up the topic if she didn't tell him.

Aubrey
Stacey but I don't want to talk about it anymore.

Dick
Well I see why you don't wanna name nugget after her. That name is hideous and over used.

Aubrey laughed and agreed to Dick's statement.

Dick
What about Alona Marylyn. It has a ring to it and it still honors my mother.

Aubrey
I like that.

Dick
Yeah

Aubrey
Yeah Its cute

Dick grabbed Aubrey's hand and kissed her palm. Aubrey nudged herself into the crook of Dick's next then fell asleep.
